3. Succession Program
Considering the tight school timeline in Sun Yat-sen University, we postpone the LCP/EB election timeline to the second half year.
However, the timeline postpone is not equal to the succession process postponed.Already start the succession designed together with our EB team.
And the proposed LCP election will be at the end of September, while EB will be at the end of Oct.

4. Main Market Penetration
Main Market Penetration
Considering the coming EDM, we provide an independent developing environment for SYSU’s SUs.Helping them with new structure build up, financial independent, new strategy come up etc. Also hold meetings with SUPs on the SU development discussions.
This year, they all got a very well development not only in performance but also in HR pipeline, which provides them a very promising upgraded future.
In the coming half year, we’ll focus more on own campus market development.
Main Market Penetration
While comparing with last years:
2014 Main Campus Percentage – 39%
2013 Main Campus Percentage – 40%
Not a big changes, mainly due to rapid development of the 4 SUs campus. Actually that’s a good sign for the coming EDM.
But for SYSU the main campus, a deeper and wider market exploration is needed.

In the year 2014, in order to integrate external resources, to have them better benefit AIESEC SYSU, we officially re-start the ER function this year, which was shut down since 2011.

With a modified team structure next term, ER in AIESEC SYSU will have brand new development direction and we strongly believe that, with the efforts of our whole team, the external relations will grow like rockets! XD

Last but not least we want to mentioned in this application.AIESEC is also a very unique platform about creating her own influence, delivering her positive impact to our living society. Co-create a better environment with all the youth talent, all the other organization with shared vision and values.
Thus, this year, we will initiate or co-deliver with MC, for 3 main projects to better deliver what believe this platform should do, what we believe our generation should react to our society.
1. Cross-Strait Youth Forum – Taiwan2. Business School – Unilever3. Career Forum – MC
While Cross-Strait Youth Forum is now delivering but the other 2 are still on the process.
Impact Projects – Cross-Strait Youth Forum
We will build the platform for youth from Mainland and Taiwan to sit together, talk together. We are not here to focus on any political problems, but just to know more, or we should say, start to know each other. About education, about commonweal, about youth development etc.
The first Cross-Strait Youth Forum, CSYF in short, will be held in Guangzhou, in September. At the same time, we will start iGCDP project at August, involving Taiwan EPs to explore local culture in Guangdong.
An OCT of 13 people is formed, and half of them is now in Taiwan establishing partnership with MC/LCs and other organizations there.

“Challenges are what we came for.”
Indeed, we’ve spent years after years to chase, to pursue what we believe: A platform for people development, for world peace. We failed and we achieved, from time to time. And the journey ahead is very challenging without doubt.
However, we are never alone. And for me, as the president of AIESEC SYSU, I feel lucky and grateful.
