”Finding God’s Light in the Darkest Moments”

Mrs. Trapuzzano gave a wonderful presentation on the power of redemptive

suffering. While she could have used the tragedy of her husband’s death to

turn from God, she instead used her grief to grow closer to Him. I am glad I

was able to hear her story, and even happier that my whole family was there

to experience this powerful witness. (Remarks from a family in attendance)

The supplies include a blanket, first aid and hygiene supplies and a hat and gloves. Also added are puzzle books and, for children's backpacks, a small toy. In the first year over 100 backpacks were distributed. St. Michael Parish was a generous supporter of this program last year and we are partici-pating again this year. Items can be dropped into collection baskets at the Church entrances the weekends of Oct. 17-18, 24-25, 31 and Nov. 1 and then Nov. 7 & 8. Currently basic backpacks are especially needed. Our parish senior ministry has volunteered to help pack the BackPacks of Hope. Thank you!
