WHAT: Closing Reception for Cultural Connections: Arezzo In NormanWHERE: MAINSITE Contemporary Art, 122 E. Main
WHEN: 6 to 10 p.m.ABOUT: MAINSITE Contemporary Art: Home of the Norman Arts Council hosts the closing
reception for Cultural Connections: Norman in Arezzo, the first in a series of exhibitions that will bring international artists to Oklahoma while also sending Norman artists across the globe to share our heritage and history in new places through art. Enrique Moya Gonzalez, Sara Lovari
and Massimiliano Luchetti had flown to Oklahoma to work on-site and for the opening reception. They shared their talent, culture & friendship, but have since returned to Italy. There will be free refreshments and small bites on hand. Norman Arts Council Individual Artist winner Corazon Watkins will have work on display in MAINSITE’s Library Gallery and Katelynn Knick has an
installation in the Water Closet.
WHAT: Opening Reception for Small Works VWHERE: The Depot, 200 S. Jones
WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.ABOUT: The Depot Gallery welcomes in the holiday season with Small Works V, an exhibition featuring the work of artists Carol Beesley, Tony Grider, Almira
Grammer, Don Holladay, Marilyn LeFlore, Brad Price, Corazon Watkins and John Wolfe. An opening reception, coordinated with 2nd Friday Art Walk on November 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. will feature an art chat with and demonstrations by the artists.
WHAT: Holiday Gift GalleryWHERE: Firehouse Art Center, 444 S. Flood
WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.ABOUT: The Firehouse Art Center will be hosting its annual Holiday Gift Gallery from
6-9 pm during the Art Walk and will continue this exhibit until December 24th. For almost 30 years, the FAC has hosted this show to highlight regional artists by showcasing their work for sale to the public in a festive extension of the year-round gift shop. The Holiday
Gift Gallery includes a wide assortment of original and handmade artwork and high-quality crafts made by regional artists, 90% of whom reside in Oklahoma. Shoppers have
the opportunity to find special gifts while supporting local artists.

WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m.ABOUT: Firehouse Art Center is collaborating with Visit Norman to showcase the work of
Firehouse photography students.
WHAT: 2nd Friday Adult Story Time: Comedy BattleWHERE: Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster
WHEN: 6:30 to 8 p.m.ABOUT: Pioneer Library System presents The 2nd Friday Adult Story Time, which takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Campbell Gallery Reading Room of the Norman
Public Library. This month will be a comedy battle — think readings from works by Tina Fey, David Sedaris, etc. This event will once again be held in the Campbell Gallery Room, which will also be featuring works from local artists. Starting in November, this event will
begin at 6:30 and will conclude by 8:00 pm.

received her first camera at the age of four. She now looks to photography to reveal thoughts and feelings as a moment in time is captured forever.
