“BC field hockey is a program that never gives up. We are a team that will fight until the very last second, and show that we deserve to be in a conference, playing against the best teams in the NCAA. The difference between ordinary and extra-ordinary is just that little extra, and that’s exactly what BC field hockey is...that little extra.”-Kate Gillis ‘12

“Being a part of this team has defined me at BC. There has been nothing I love more than spending time with my teammates and coaches on and off the field. It’s not every day where I can feel such a sense of pride and excitement about the sport I play, and the team I’m on. Even though I am a senior and my time on this team will come to an end after this season, there’s no better feeling than knowing that I have truly made life long friendships here at BC.”-Chelsey Feole ‘10

“My favorite memory of BCFH from last season is beating UNC at home. It was a great team win, and we earned the respect we deserved from teams across the country. I am excited and looking forward to the challenges that we will face this season with the hopes of making more memories like this one.”-Emily Kozinuk ‘11

“In our 3-2 OT loss to Virginia we really played our hearts out, and we realized that game showed our true character. Right then and there, standing in our locker-room after the game, I felt so proud to be part of this team. Even though this was our toughest loss of the year this moment brought us together, and made us stronger as a team here at BC.”-Lexy Ratering Arntz ‘11

Boston College takes the field in 2009 with a balanced mix of experienced veterans, and promising young talent, that will try to guide the Eagles to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005. The Eagles return 12 letter winners and seven starters from last year’s 12-7 team, and also added three newcomers to the squad. BC begins its fifth season in the competitive Atlantic Coast Conference which has gone on to produce the last seven NCAA National Field Hockey Champions.

The 2008 Eagles were an impressive 7-2 at home last season, which included a 2-0 win over #4 ranked North Carolina. They also posted another double-digit-win season for the 14th time in 15 years. In a tough ACC conference the team finished with a 1-4 league record last season. Boston College traveled to Durham, N.C. for last year’s ACC Tournament, but excited early, losing a heartbreaker in the first round to Wake Forrest 4-3.

The 2008 season was a breakout year for junior forward Chelsey Feole who established herself as one of the more dominant players in the ACC. Feole had a total of 38 points on the season with 16 goals, which put her in a tie for eighth in the ACC, and six assists. The highlight of Feole’s season came on Oct. 17th against Northeastern as she scored a career high four goals to propel the Eagles to a 4-3 win. She has already established herself as one of the best players to ever play field hockey at Boston College as she is 10th all-time on the career points list with 70.

Boston College received several awards this offseason that were given to individual players, and the team as a whole. Bob Dirks led the way with multiple honors as she was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team, All-Northeast Region First Team, NFHCA Division I First Team All-American, ECAC Division I All-Star Team, and she was named 2009 Boston College Eagle of the Year. Chelsey Feole was named to the All-Northeast Region First Team, NFHCA Division I Second Team All-American, and the ACC All-Academic Team. Emily Kozniuk made the All-Northeast Region First Team. The team itself excelled on the field and off earning the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic Team Award.

The Eagles had a busy off-season gathering both playing and coaching experience. Head Coach Ainslee Lamb will be the assistant coach for the USA Under-21 National field hockey team at the Junior World Cup Tournament. Lamb will also be coaching the New England High Performance Team for a second consecutive summer at the 2009 National Field Hockey Championship at Virginia Beach. Feole, and Jessica Roberts will be part of the New England Championship High Performance Team. Feole was also named to the 2009 Junior National Field Hockey Development Squad.

During the offseason this summer, Head Coach Ainslee Lamb named seniors Chelsey Feole and Emily Kozniuk the 2009 captains. Both started all 19 games last season, and will be expected to lead the team both on the field and off.

aTTaCK:The Eagles will have one of the best forwards in the ACC coming back this year in senior captain Chelsey Feole (16-6-38). Joining her on attack this season will be Janna Anctil and Kate Gillis. Anctil was tied for third on the team last season in goals with three, and looks to improve on those numbers coming into this season. Gillis had a strong freshman campaign, and will look to have a breakout year going into her sophomore season. Courtney Tavener, Marlotte van den Bergh, and Taylor Turchi will also look to contribute to the Eagles frontline as well heading into the 2009 season.

midfiELd:Boston College’s strength this season will be its midfield as they return a trio of very skilled players led by junior captain Emily Kozniuk. Kozniuk started all 19 games last season, and finished third on the team in points (3-7-13). She will be teaming up with senior Caitlin McGovern, and fellow junior Jessica Roberts. McGovern and Roberts appeared in all 19 games last season, and they look to contribute often on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Catherine O’Brien will also be getting time at midfield for the Eagles this season.

dEfEnSE:The defense will have an impressive mix of experienced returning upperclassmen, and talented new underclassmen which could prove to be a deadly combination. Senior Jenny Raftery and junior Lexy Ratering Arntz return to a defense that only gave up 40 goals a season ago. Newcomers Jacqui Moorfield and Kara Mackintire will team up with Reftery and Arntz to try to help lower that number for the 2009 season. Sophomore Carla Tamer will be in the defensive mix as well this year.

gOaLKEEPERS:BC will have a new starting goalie this season as Berkowitz was lost to graduation. That new goalie this season will be senior Kristine Stigas. Stigas appeared in two games last season, and has worked hard in her three years prior to help prepare her for this year. Sophomore Nicole Barry will be backing up Stigas in net for the Eagles this season. ThE SChEdULE:

The ACC is one of the top conferences in collegiate field hockey in the country, and the Eagles will look to improve their record against conference opponents this season. All six member institutions were ranked in the top 15 in the country in the final 2008 NFHCA coaches poll. The Eagles will also play ranked teams in University of Massachusetts and Syracuse.

Boston College begins its season with road games against the University of Vermont and William and Mary.

The first ACC battle of the season will be at home versus the defending national champion Maryland Terrapins on September 19th. Boston College has never beaten Maryland, and look to use their home field advantage to change that this season. The Eagles will also be traveling to North Carolina twice this season to face two tough ACC foes in Wake Forrest and UNC. BC will be looking for revenge on Wake Forrest as the Demon Deacons ousted the Eagles in the first-round of the ACC Tournament last season.

aCC TOURnamEnTAfter hosting the 2007 tournament, and suffering a heartbreaking loss in the first-round last year, the Eagles will look to earn their first ACC Tournament win when they travel to Virginia for this year’s tournament Nov. 5-8.

“Competing at this premier tournament provides great preparation for the NCAA Tournament,” Lamb said.

Consistency. It is the mark of true excellence in any endeavor. However, in today’s intercollegiate athletics, competition has become so balanced and so competitive that it is virtually impossible to maintain a high level of consistency. Yet the Atlantic Coast Conference has defied the odds. Now, in its 57th year of competition, the ACC has long enjoyed the reputation as one of the strongest and most competitive intercollegiate conferences in the nation. And that is not mere conjecture, the numbers support it. Since the league’s inception in 1953, ACC schools have captured 113 national championships, including 60 in women’s competition and 53 in men’s. In addition, NCAA individual titles have gone to ACC student-athletes 209 times. Since its introduction as an ACC-sponsored sport in 1983, field hockey has experienced unparalleled success. With several national powerhouses competing within the Conference, the ACC has established itself as the premier field hockey conference, both athletically and academically. More than 350 players have been recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association with National Academic Squad selections and more than 200 have been tabbed All-America. Moreover, in 2008, Maryland’s Susan Rowe (Honda Award) and Katie O’Donnell (womensfieldhockey.com) earned National Player of the Year awards, bringing the leagues total to nine, while Maryland’s Missy Meharg was selected as the National Coach of the Year, the 14th time an ACC coach has earned that honor. In 1987 Maryland became the first ACC institution to win a national title when the Terrapins defeated North Carolina, 2-1, in overtime, in what would become the first of eight national championship games pitting two conference rivals against each other. For the 13th straight year, the ACC was represented by multiple teams in the NCAA Tournament. In fact, for the seventh time in the last nine seasons, including the last six in a row, the ACC placed at least two teams in the national semifinals. The national championship game guaranteed a victory for the ACC again when two conference teams, Maryland and Wake Forest, faced off for the championship.

Since 1989, the national semifinals have seen at least one ACC school, and 2008 marked the 11th straight season that an ACC school has clinched a berth in the national championship game. All told, ACC teams have combined for a NCAA-best 14 titles in 27 appearances, including the last seven and 12 of the past 16. The league is the only conference in Division I to boast seven consecutive national titles in field hockey (2002-08), with Maryland, North Carolina, and Wake Forest having combined for the last six crowns. The Terps and Tar Heels are two of just three teams in Division I to have won four or more national titles, as Maryland took its sixth championship in 2008, while North Carolina won its fifth in 2007. Additionally, UNC (1995-97) and Wake Forest (2002-04) are two of just three schools to have won “back-to-back-to-back” titles.

2008-09 in REViEW

The 2008-09 academic year saw league teams capture five national team titles and 21 individual NCAA crowns. In all, the ACC has won 48 national team titles over the last 13 years and has won two or more NCAA titles in 27 of the past 29 years. A total of 130 ACC teams placed in NCAA postseason competition in 2008-09. League teams compiled a 130-74-1 (.637) mark in NCAA championship competition. In addition, the ACC had 198 student-athletes earn first team All-America honors this past year. Overall, the league had 266 first-, second-, or third-team All-Americans and the ACC produced nine national Players of the Year. A total of 88 teams finished their respective seasons ranked in the Top 25 poll, including six teams holding the nation’s top spot.

Head Coach Ainslee Lamb once again guided the 2008 Boston College field hockey team to a winning record and many individual and team accomplishments. The 2008 team finished with a 12-7 record, their eighth consecutive winning season, including a 2-0 shutout victory over 2007 National Champion North Carolina. The Eagles compiled a six-game and a five-game winning streak and outscored opponents 53-40. Two players earned All-America honors and five were named to the All-Northeast Regional team. One player was named to the All-ACC and All-ACC tournament teams. Seven players were named to the All-ACC Academic squad and six were named to the NFHCA Academic Squad. The team as a whole also earned the NFHCA Academic Team Award for having a combined GPA for all team members of 3.0 or higher.

Lamb had a very busy summer going into the 2009 season as she was the Assistant Coach for the Under 21 U.S. National Field Hockey team that competed in the Junior World Cup. Boston College co-hosted the international event that featured some of the best field hockey teams from around the world. Lamb helped guide team USA to an eighth place finish in the tournament. Lamb was also the head coach for the New England High Performance team that competed in Virginia Beach this summer. The 2009 High Performance Team also featured current Boston College assistant coach Chris Clements, and four players on this year’s roster. She was named the Junior National Camp assistant coach this summer which helped prepare the U.S. team for the world cup.

In 2007, Boston College recorded its seventh consecutive winning season with a 12-8 record under Lamb. The Eagles compiled a five-game winning streak and outscored opponents 54-33 throughout the season. Two players earned All-America and All-ACC status, while four were named to the All-Northeast Regional team. Seven players were honored with All-ACC academic accolades and seven were named to the NFHCA Academic Squad. Lamb, who is heading into her fourth season at the helm for the Eagles, notched her 80th win in a 5-2 victory against New Hampshire on Oct. 21.

After the season, Lamb was invited to an inaugural program to earn the USA Field Hockey’s Level III coaching accreditation, which is the highest coaching level that can be obtained. To add to her accomplishments, Lamb was also named an assistant coach for the United Stats Under-19 team. The team traveled to Chili in the spring for tournament play. During the summer Lamb coached the New England High Performance Team to a National Championship at the 2008 USA Field Hockey High Performance Training Center National Championship Tournament. The 2008 squad featured three of her own players, as Julia Berkowitz, Chelsey Feole and Jessica Roberts were all members of the team.

Lamb led the team to a 14-6 overall record in 2006. Under her guidance, the program reached its highest rank ever in the NFHCA poll, placing fourth on October 3 after defeating Duke in double overtime. In 2006, five of her players received All-Northeast Regional status while two of those players were named national All-Americans. Three players earned All-ACC Academic honors and were named to the NFHCA Academic Squad.

After the strong 2006 campaign, Lamb coached the New England Team in the 2007 USA Field Hockey’s High Performance Training Center National Championship Tournament in Virginia Beach, Va. The tournament, held June 17-24, featured six teams from around the country comprised of a select number of high school students, college players and members of the USA National Squad. Lamb coached three of her own Eagles, as Crystal Frates, Caitlyn Young and Julia Berkowitz helped make up the New England Team.

In February 2005, Lamb became the seventh head field hockey coach in Boston College history. She took over a program that was heading into its inaugural year in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the home of seven of the last 10 national champions.

Lamb racked up many accomplishments in her first year at the Heights. The Eagles won 10 or more games for the 11th time in the last 12 years and finished the season by making their third-straight NCAA appearance. Lamb’s 2005 team finished with one All-American, two All-ACC selections and four members of the Dartfish/NFCHA Division I All-Northeast Team. Off the field, Lamb’s team received even more accolades, including seven National All-Academic honors and the NFHCA National Academic Team Award—only one of two ACC teams to receive the prestigious team award.

During her five-year stint at Yale, from 1999 to 2003, Lamb built the program into one of the most respected in the Northeast. Lamb’s teams compiled a 41-47 record during her tenure and led the Bulldogs to back-to-back ECAC championships in 2002 and 2003, marking the first such accomplishment in league history. In 2003, her team set a school record for consecutive wins, reeling off nine in a row.

Lamb’s players also earned All-Ivy recognition 19 times and regional All-America status 10 times. Her 2003 squad boasted 12 NFHCA Academic All-Americans and finished fourth in the country for the NFHCA Division I National Team Academic Award.

Prior to her being named head coach, Lamb served as an assistant under Marisa Didio for three years, taking charge of Yale’s recruiting efforts. In 1998, she was on the staff that led Yale to a school-record 15 wins, a second-place finish in the Ivy League and an ECAC Championship.

Lamb’s coaching career began in 1994, when she became a graduate assistant coach at University of Massachusetts. She spent three years with the Minutewomen, helping them reach the NCAA Tournament in each of those seasons.

Lamb is a 1994 graduate of the University of Toronto and earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1996. She was a standout player at both Toronto and UMass, where she was an NCAA Tournament All-Star when the Minutewomen reached the NCAA Final Four in 1992. She and her husband Joel, Harvard football’s offensive co-coordinator, have a daughter, Brooklyn.

goalkeepersFifth season

Carolyn Cahill is in her fifth season as an assistant coach on the Eagle staff. She is responsible for all aspects of coaching the Eagle goalkeepers.

During her first season with the Eagles, Cahill coached senior goalkeeper Jillian Savoy to a first-team All-Northeast Team selection. Savoy posted three shutouts, a 13-7 overall record and 2.03 goals-against average.

Cahill coached All-ACC goalie Julia Berkowitz, who earned three All-Northeast Regional accolades and was named a third-team All-American in 2007. Berkowitz compiled a 33-20 record under Cahill’s guidance and made 305 career saves. Cahill currently works with Kristine Stigas and Nicole Barry.

In the summer of 2008, Cahill served as the goalie coach for the New England High Performance Team that won the Championship at the Field Hockey National Championships in Virginia Beach, VA. Cahill was also an assistant coach on the 2009 High Performance coaching staff.

Before Boston College, Cahill served as the head field hockey coach at Merrimack College (2002-04), where she doubled her wins over a two-year period. An active member of the NFHCA, she was also a member of the Division II All-America selection committee. Prior to her post at Merrimack, she served as an assistant to Lamb at Yale (2000-02). While with the Bulldogs, Cahill oversaw starting goalie Krissy Nesburg, an All-American who received first-team All-Ivy League honors for two consecutive seasons and ranks fourth on Yale’s career goals-against average list (1.49).

Cahill was a four-year starter at Bentley College in Waltham, Mass. She was named Bentley’s 2000 Female Athlete of the Year and the 1999 Northeast-10 Goalie of the Year. While with the Falcons, she won four Northeast-10 Conference championships and played in the 1999 NCAA Championship game. She was a three-time Division II All-American.

lamb on MackintireKara is the steady back that every team needs. Her consistent line play on the field will help strengthen our defense. Her decision making out of the backfield is very good. Her ability to throw the ball out off the backfield will contribute to our outleting abilities against the high pressing teams in the ACC.

NewToN cAMpuS Field

Newtoncampus Field

THe HoMe oF BoSToN college Field HockeyIn 2005 the Boston College field hockey team made its new home at the state-of-the-art AstroTurf field located on the Newton Campus. Adjacent to the Newton Campus Soccer Field, the Field Hockey Complex features an irrigated, non-filled nylon turf surrounded by fencing and a retaining wall. The complex includes a 750-seat bleacher, an elevated scorer’s table area and a sports lighting system for evening play. In preparation for the 2007 fall season, wireless internet and a closed-in press box were added to the facility over the summer.

Construction began on April 19, 2005 and was completed in mid-August of the same year. The Eagles christened the field with a 3-2 win over Kent State on Sept. 4, 2005.

The field hosts all Boston College field hockey home games and also serves as the team’s practice facility.

Over the last four seasons, the Eagles have had much success at the Newton Campus Field, going 24-12, a .667 winning percentage. Five wins against ranked opponents have come in Newton.

With the field’s close proximity to the dormitories, the “Superfans,” BC’s collective student fan base, frequent games to provide a boisterous and exciting atmosphere. Decked in bright gold t-shirts, Superfans, friends and family sit right near the action in the bleachers or on the lawn shaded with trees surrounding the field.

Last season the Eagles got one of their biggest home wins in the history of Newton Field beating the fourth ranked North Carolina Tar Heels 2-0, on October 10.

In 2007, the Eagles hosted the ACC Field Hockey Championships. Newton Campus Field became the first site of an Atlantic Coast Conference tournament hosted by Boston College. The Eagles lost an overtime battle to Virginia, 3-2, in the quarterfinals. Almost 1,500 fans attended the five-game tournament, including the 500 who watched the championship game as North Carolina defeated Wake Forest, 4-3, in overtime.

Since Gene DeFilippo became Director of Athletics in September of 1997, he has led the BC athletics program to an unprecedented period of innovation, growth, fundraising, athletic and academic success. He also led the program through one of the most significant periods in its history as it transitioned to full membership in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Under DeFilippo’s leadership, Boston College student-athletes’ achievements in the classroom have become an immense source of pride for the University and its supporters. Last year, 363 BC student-athletes maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or better, earning the Athletic Director’s Award for Academic Excellence. BC’s graduation rate for all student-athletes has consistently ranked in the nation’s top ten. DeFilippo initiated an impressive overhaul of BC’s athletics facilities that includes new football practice facilities, a total renovation of Conte Forum, including a new sound system, floor and video boards, new soccer, field hockey and lacrosse facilities on the Newton campus, new Field Turf for Alumni Stadium, and an air-inflated bubble to cover the stadium turf to provide an indoor practice facility for all sports during the winter months. DeFilippo was instrumental in raising money to build the privately funded $27 million, 72,000-square-foot Yawkey Athletics Center, which houses the football program, the Office of Learning Resources for Student-Athletes, and a large function area for general University use. After football moved into the Yawkey Center, BC undertook a multi-million dollar renovation Conte Forum to provide additional locker room and office space for many of BC’s 31 varsity sports. DeFilippo renamed the Athletics Association’s fundraising arm (formerly Blue Chips) in honor of longtime Athletics Director Bill Flynn. Alumni, parents and friends of Boston College Athletics contributed $18 million in 2008-09, the third-highest total in BC Athletics history and 50 percent more than just four years ago. The 4,600 donors to the Flynn Fund prove that there is strength in numbers; nearly 700 alumni, parents and friends have given to BC Athletics for at least 10 consecutive years.

Anne and Gene DeFilippo cemented their commitment to Boston College by announcing their pledge of $100,000 to endow a scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a female student-athlete who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement and financial need. In athletics competition, DeFilippo has overseen some of the most successful seasons in Boston College Athletics history. During the 2008-09 season, the football team appeared in a school-record 10th consecutive bowl game and made a second consecutive trip to the ACC Championship Game. In 2008, the men’s ice hockey team won its third national championship, and the men’s soccer team captured both the ACC regular-season and tournament championships and entered the NCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament as the overall No. 1 seed. From 1993-97, DeFilippo served as director of athletics at Villanova University. He served as Associated Director of Athletics at the University of Kentucky from 1987-93, Director of Athletics at the University of South Carolina-Spartanburg from 1984-87 and Director of Administrative Services at Vanderbilt University from 1983-84. His coaching experience includes three years as offensive backfield coach at Vanderbilt (1980-82), which included the 1982 Hall of Fame Bowl. From 1975-79, he was offensive coordinator at Youngstown State University, during which time the team won two consecutive Mid-Continent Conference championships, 1978-79. In 1973-74, he was graduate assistant football coach for the University of Tennessee, coaching in the 1973 Gator Bowl and 1974 Liberty Bowl. A 1973 graduate of Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science degree, DeFilippo earned three varsity letters as a quarterback in football during his undergraduate career. He received a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Tennessee in 1974. DeFilippo and his wife, Anne, are the parents of three children – Christine Eldred (recently married to Matt Eldred), a guidance counselor; John, assistant quarterbacks coach for the New York Jets, and Mary, marketing and sales coordinator for Fenway Sports Group.

BoSToN college

BoSToNcollege

Boston College was founded in 1863 by the Society of Jesus to serve the sons of Boston’s Irish immigrants. It was the first institution of higher education to be founded in the city of Boston. Today, it is one of the foremost universities in the nation, with a coeducational enrollment of 14,500 undergraduate and graduate students. Boston College has drawn students from all 50 states and more than 80 countries.

Boston College has grown not just in size, but also in stature and diversity. Today, it is ranked among the top 34 national universities by US News & World Report. Its Graduate School of Social Work is listed among the nation’s top 15, also by US News, while the graduate programs of its Lynch School of Education are among the top 20 and its Connell School of Nursing and Law School are among the top 30. In addition, eight undergraduate programs of the Carroll School of Management placed among the top 10 in the nation according to BusinessWeek, with accounting placing first in its category. Boston College is among the nation’s most selective universities, with nearly 30,000 applications received for its 2,250-member Class of 2013, and is numbered among the top American private research universities.

After more than a century of growth and evolution, Boston College holds fast to the ideals that inspired its Jesuit founders. The University today remains focused on its mission of helping students to develop their minds and talents while providing them with the motivation and compassion to use those talents in the service of others.

“Deeply rooted in its Catholic and Jesuit origins, Boston College offers an education that is distinctive in spirit and content, that is doubly rich with the best of human thought and with the profound insights of faith,” writes Reverend William P. Leahy, SJ, who assumed the presidency of Boston College in 1996. “We believe that Boston College provides a transforming experience for young men and women.”

A continued expression of this philosophy, based on the Jesuit principle of cura personalis, or care for the individual, is the faculty’s dedication to teaching. BC faculty members have been honored for their teaching by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Education, while the University’s overall commitment to teaching has been ranked among the nation’s top 20, also by US News & World Report.

A Boston College education focuses not only on intellectual development, but also on personal, spiritual and physical development. Students are asked to use their abilities, education and acquired skills to help others in need, whether in Boston or Belize. Each year, more than 5,000 undergraduates give some 375,000 hours of community service in the Boston area, while more than 650 students trade vacation for service during Spring Break. Nearly 2,000 students take part in retreats and spiritual formation activities annually.

Today, the Boston College motto “ever to excel” also extends to a broad array of extracurricular activities and opportunities ranging from sports to the arts. Athletics is integral to the University’s focus on the development of the whole person in body as well as in mind and spirit. BC offers 31 men’s and women’s varsity sports, all of which compete at the NCAA Division I level, and annually has one of the highest graduation rates in Division IA.

BC offers a wide variety of resources that enrich intellectual and cultural life beyond the campus gates. Among these are the Jesuit Institute; Center for Ignatian Spirituality; Center for Catholic Education; Church in the 21st Century Center; Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life; Center for Human Rights and International Justice; Center for Christian-Jewish Learning; Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics; Center on Wealth and Philanthropy; Center for Retirement Research; Sloan Center on Aging and Work; Center for the Study of Testing, Evaluation and Educational Policy; TIMSS and PIRLS International Study Center; Center for International Higher Education; Burns Library of Rare Books and Special Collections; Robsham Theater Arts Center; McMullen Museum of Art; Center for Child, Family and Community Partnerships; Center for Corporate Citizenship; Center for Work and Family; Center for Irish Programs; Urban Ecology Institute and Weston Observatory.
