Art Workshops The last six months of 2021
(in theory!)
I specialise in Pastel pictures, but cover a wide variety of subjects, mediums, and techniques in my workshops.
Well, this is the plan for the last six months of 2021, but who can really say for sure what will happen? If possible, the following art workshops will be delivered in as ‘safe and socially distanced’ a format as can be achieved. A copy of my ‘class guidelines’ is printed in this document. Guidelines for attending sessions. To comply with current guidelines please read the following important information. As of 17th May only 6 will be allowed to attend each class, hopefully from 21st June we will be able to return to normal numbers. Attending classes
• Anyone showing any symptoms related to Covid-19 must not attend the session.
• Anyone who is living with an individual who has or is showing any symptoms related to Covid-19 must not attend the session.
• Anyone who is living with someone who is being shielded, must not attend sessions.
• No one is to have any physical contact with anyone else during the class.
• There is to be no handshaking or swapping of materials/resources.
• Everyone must maintain ‘social distancing’ which may mean they have to queue to enter the building safely.
• Everyone must follow venue use guidelines.
• A maximum of 6 attendees will be at any class until 21st June.
• Masks are to be worn by everyone unless you are exempt, or rules change.
Your contact details must be provided in case the need arises to contact you if someone shows signs of the virus after the class.
Guidelines for classes during the pandemic
• Face masks or full visors are to be worn at all sessions unless rules change.
• If you bring and use your own materials do not lend them to others
• Everyone must use sanitiser before they pick up any equipment.
• Everyone must use sanitiser when they have finished before they leave the room.
• Everyone must use sanitiser on re-entering the classroom if they have left to use the toilet etc.
• Do not come into physical contact with any other member of the group.
• If you cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue or your hands, dispose of tissue immediately in waste bins provided, wash and sanitise your hands.
• Refreshments will be on a ’one at a time’ basis, wet wipes are provided to clean flask button and milk handle as required.
We have endeavoured, following current government guidelines, to make the venues as safe as we can and have put in all the measures we can ensure people are able to attend classes in a safe ‘socially distanced’ environment. A copy of the full ‘Risk Assessment’ is available on request.

18/5, 25/5, 1/6, 8/6 & 15/6 ‘Still Life’ pictures are often described as ‘standard stuff’, but they can be anything you want them to be. We will be throwing out the
idea of ‘just a bowl of fruit’ and exploring a huge range of possibilities and mediums!

Art with ‘Annie’s Alpacas’ An exciting collaboration between Cora, & Annie of Burnt Fen Alpacas
An Art Workshop Day with Burnt Fen Alpacas Cottage Garden, Burnt Fen Rd, Horning, Norfolk, NR12 8LA
Open to beginners & those wishing to improve their skills or try out different mediums. The plan is to work outside among the
alpacas. However, if the weather is unkind, we will decamp to ‘Kurt the Yurt’ & look upon the paddocks from a sheltered viewpoint.

These two-hour art workshops will give you a ‘taster’ of the
possibilities for ‘Monochrome’ images and the potential for
adding colour in different ways. We will use a variety of media,
all of which is provided, just bring along your own A3
sketch/cartridge pad. Includes tea and coffee.

Colour Explosion – working with different colour mediums,
whilst exploring new techniques and practising existing skills
through ‘fun’ projects.
2nd July to 30th July
‘Mixing it Up’ – working in mixed media, combining the
materials and techniques of previous two course blocks.
£85.00 for each 5-week course
to include use of all basic art materials. Additional small fee for tea & coffee from café in shop.
