COURAGE TO CHANGE The Courage to Change Ministry had an excellent year in 2014. We had over 100 people in attendance with an average of 15 for our regular Thursday evening meetings. Each of our elders showed their support by attending at least one of our special speaker meetings and our special events. One of our ministers showed his support for this ministry by attending our Christmas dinner party. We truly appreciate the support we receive from our church leaders and other members of this congregation for this program. We feel this is a worthwhile ministry with the goal of helping to lead others to Christ and strengthening our relationship with God. About half of those who attend are not members of the Belpre Church of Christ. Our regular meetings resumed January 15. Please come join us. LOVE IN ACTION Please remember to pick up a baby bottle to help out the Women's Center again this year. Fill them with coins, bills, or a check. These will be need to be returned in one month. Please do not take a bottle if you are not going to return it. Each year we loose about 15-20 of these. We will also be making another donation to The Church of Christ Disaster relief. Some have already donated. If you would like to donate please see Anita Vaughan. So why do we care? Why do we reach out to those whose lives are in such turmoil? When we are willing to wade into someone else’s troubles to help that person hold up under the weight, two things happen. First, he or she receives desperately needed blessings in the form of aid, support, and love. And second, you fulfill God’s command to love a neighbor as yourself. May we all follow "The Coach" ( Christ ) this year and love as he did! MEMORIAL SERVICE

A memorial service is being planned to honor the life of Ruth Henry on Sat.,

Jan. 31 at 11:00 a.m. here at the Belpre building. A dinner will be held for

the family and friends in the MPR following the service.

Leslie Roby has been undergoing tests in CCMH and is in room 507.

Judy Pierpont, Jeff Pierpont’s mother and Gene Mallett’s sister, passed

away Friday morning. At her request, there will be no memorial service.

Mike Fleak, son-in-law of Bill & Mary Lemley, members at Lubeck, has been

diagnosed with cancer.

Jeff Beeson received the results of his recent PET scan, which indicated

that he is cancer free! Jeff is the brother of Denise Kaufman.
