Contributions to the Closing Statement of the International Year of Cooperatives

Participate in the call by the United Nations to contribute to the statement regarding youth to close the international year of cooperatives. It should be noted that this document is considered the most important document of exhortation and awareness for humanity to cause the inclusion of youth as strategic character development of the cooperative movement and therefore of society.

International Youth Seminar

The seminar was divided into four academic moments:1.1 Orientation of the seminar, references and setting expectations and goals.1.2 Workshop: Mapping Process and Mapping links.1.3 Workshop: Weaving Networks.1.4 Evaluation of Results.

Main Results• It is the first international seminar that is organized separate

of meetings, summits or ICA regional conference for what is considered a positive response from the audience and left an important precedent in this event with the participation of 10 different countries throughout the Americas, achieving an attendance of 150 people.

• It had the support of Mexico Cooperative Coordinating Committee and the regional office of the ICA Americas.

• Deepened in learning workshops and providing tools for attendees.

• We had the presence of 4 members of Youth Committee of ICA Americas.
