York Racecourse lies within a mile of the city centre and is served by convenient road, rail and air access routes. The concert venue is on the Knavesmire adjacent to York Racecourse facilities. A short distance to the west of the clocktower entrance.

BY CAR:A one way system will be in place for this event so please follow the yellow event signage and not satellite navigation systems.

CAR PARKINGParking may be purchased in advance (£7.50) or on the day (£10 CASH subject to availability), for up to date options please click HERE

Customers are STRONGLY recommended not to visit by car unless they have prepaid parking or checked there is sufficient availability as parking restrictions are in place in the surrounding area and are likely to be enforced on the day.Car Park D is already sold out and will not be accessible to those who have not prepaid.

BY TAXI:A taxi from York city centre or York station takes 5 – 10 minutes.

BY SHUTTLE BUS:Shuttle Buses are running at peak demand times and costing £2 each way or £3 return.

SECURITY

BAG POLICYPlease try to bring a bag no larger than an A4 piece of paper. All bags are subject to a search. So please avoid bringing one where you can as this will speed up your entry to the concert.

FOOD AND DRINKA full range of food and drink concessions are available within the concert arena. Do not attempt to bring food or drink into the venue, as it will be confiscated.

You may bring 1 sealed bottle of water per person max 500ml.

If you have a medical condition, then a doctor’s note will be required to permit diet-specific food and drink only. RE-ADMITTANCE POLICYOnce you leave the event arena you will not be allowed back in.
