This drawing is to be read in conjunction with the full DesignOffice drawing set, DesignOffice schedules and other consultants drawings or documents. All construction, materials and workmanship are to be in accordance with the Building Code of Australia and the relevant current Australian Standards. All details of construction are to be carried out in accordance with good building practice and, when appropriate, in accordance with manufacturers instruction.
Do not scale from these drawings, figured dimensions only are to be used. If in doubt, ask. All dimensions are shown to finished wall, floor and ceiling levels. Contractors must verify all dimensions on site and report any on site discrepancies to DesignOffice for discussion prior to the commencement of any works or preparation of shop drawings. Any changes made to the information or detail contained within these drawings must be approved in writing by DesignOffice.
Confirm all equipment sizes, installation requirements and services required to equipment with manufacturer prior to commencement of works. Report any discrepancies immediately to DesignOffice for resolution. Any visible items not yet specified, (i.e.: air con registers, switches, handles etc) are to be referred to DesignOffice for approval prior to installation. Provide power to all equipment as per manufacturers instructions.
Drawings show design intent only. Contractor must take responsibility for structural integrity and safety and ensure fit for purpose. Drawings shall not be used for construction purposes until issued by DesignOffice for construction. Contractor to provide shop drawings as noted on drawings prior to manufacture.
