We are running NAPLAN Online using iPads. Please remember NAPLAN is a one off assessment across Reading, Wring, Language Convenons (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuaon) and Mathemacs. NAPLAN is but 1 test, 1 day for 1 hour (repeated 4 mes). It does not measure your childs creavity, imaginaon, kindness, dancing, kicking or ball skills. It does not give informaon about their talent for singing, their love of animals nor how funny their jokes are. It does not know if grandma is sick, or if the car broke down on the way to school. It can not predict the future nor tell the past. Your child is more than a test. We know this. Rebuild Informaon Last week we were given a sneak peek into the new building! It is coming along well, and to schedule. This week we have seen the commencement of the decking which will provide access to our new buildings. Year 7 Secondary School Applicaons – DUE TO BE RETURNED BY 10 th MAY We had a great turn out by families to our Year 7 Transion informaon session. Please note all Year 6 students have been provided with applicaons forms to complete to apply for their preferred secondary school for 2019. We encourage all families to aend open days, informaon sessions and tours of your preferred schools to ensure your applicaons are as successful as possible. Mothers Day Stall Mothers Day is fast approaching, our annual stall will be held on Thursday 10th May. Students can bring money to purchase some lovely giſts for mum and at the same me support our school with fundraising. Please make sure any money bought along is clearly labeled and passed in at the office or to the Learning Space teacher if you feel that this would be more secure. Raffle ckets can be purchased from the front office. Volunteer and Helpers Informaon Would you like to volunteer your me around the school? You can help out in; Our Learning Spaces Breakfast Club PMP with our Foundaon students Covering books for the library All volunteers require a Working With Children check which are free to obtain through www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au . Just present your card or your receipt at the office to register. 2019 Enrolments & School Tours Enrolment Tours are every Thursday at 9.15am. Please call the office to book a place. A Mothers Day stall will be held next Thursday 10th May.

Gifts will range in price between $1.00—$8.00.

We also have a Mothers Day raffle. Tickets for the mothers day raffle are available from the office. Raffle tickets are 50 cents each.

Due to the Year 5/6 excursion to NGV on Thursday 10th May, the Mothers Day Stall will be available to

the Year 5/6 students on Friday 4th May at 11.30am—12.00pm.
