Students learnt about Australia’s cultural diversity in lessons leading up to Harmony Day. On Friday we celebrated our cultural diversity by walking to school through the town dressed in orange and had multicultural food tasting at lunchtime. There was a terrific turnout of parents and students in orange for our walk to school which stretched all the way along the main street to George Street before heading back to school through the rodeo grounds. Thank you to all the parents who provided a tasting plate of food to share and to the Boddington Police for their escort. Thank you to the Events Committee: Mrs Griffiths, Mrs Honnor and Mrs Manez for helping us celebrate our multi-cultural diversity with families and the community.
