Project Systems PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CONTROLS WGPSN has in house project management processes which are used to align our client’s processes with WGPSN’s processes at applicable project stages.

Page 15 of 21

PROJECT CONTROLS WGPSN’s system consists of several integrated tools that have been designed to be powerful but flexible and address basic control elements and specific project requirements.

• Project initiation and setup in ERS;

• Scheduling – critical path methodology, export to Primavera or MS Project;

• Progress reporting – earned value calculation, progress curves, and labour histograms;

• Cost control – web-based timesheets, labour and non-labour expense tracking;

• Change control – estimate deviation, design trends, cost premiums, scope change.

COST ESTIMATING

Cost estimating is an integral part of front end engineering and the final deliverable of many front end engineering jobs. Generally the cost estimate will be matched in accuracy to the level of engineering performed. WGPSN makes use of an extensive database of costs gathered from worldwide engineering projects. This enables our cost estimators to produce reliable and accurate cost estimates to support our front end engineering and design work. For concept level estimates including full field developments we use leading industry software including the Que$tor database.

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT To facilitate and streamline document handling, WGPSN has adopted Documentum as a centralised web-based document management system. Documentum can also store essential project documents, and manage workflow and approvals. Regardless of location all project team members have immediate access to the latest documents with the most recent comments. In addition, WGPSN has successfully integrated other document management systems such as ProjectWise with its flexible approach to project delivery.
