In our opinion, the financial statements, in all significant aspects, fairly present the financial position of the OIML as of December 31, 2013 and the results of its operations and its cash flows for the year then ended in date in accordance with accounting standards applicable to the public sector (IPSAS), the revised Financial regulations and Resolution no. 27 of the 45th CIML Meeting and Resolution no. 12 of the 14th International Conference.

• Cooperation project aimed at countries with less developed legal metrology infrastructures (CoP2013) Terms of reference (LM13 )

• Purpose: support countries with less developed legal metrology infrastructures (developing countries and countries in economic transition) in order to safeguard consumer protection and fair trade

• The initial focus of the activities will be on the implementation of regulations based on OIML R 87 and R 79, pertaining to the control of the quantity of product in and the associated labelling of prepackages

• The primary objective is to increase confidence in statements of quantity in the trade of consumer products, in particular prepackaged products, through enhanced compliance with international standards

TC 18/p 1 New Recommendation: Ophthalmic instruments - Impression and applanation tonometers

The convener (Germany) asked the BIML to help due to poor voting response for the last CD. They hoped to proceed to DR and CIML approval. The BIML is currently editing the DR, but there are only 5 P-members The BIML recommends that the normal CIML ballot and approval process is followed since the Project Group’s work has already been almost completed

maximum device This Project Group was mistakenly omitted from progress report request and from list of problem Project Groups sent to the CIML in July 2014.
