The ALJ Division has prepared Resolution ALJ-294 for the September 5, 2013 Commission Meeting. This Resolution adopts guidelines for computing interest on approved intervenor compensation claims pursuant to Pub. Util. Code § 1801, et seq. This Resolution adopts guidelines to be followed by utilities when computing interest on approved intervenor compensation claims pursuant to Pub. Util. Code § 1801, et seq. The Safety and Enforcement Division has prepared Resolution SX-107 for the September 5, 2013, Commission Meeting. This Resolution recommends to the California Transportation Commission for increasing funding under the California Public Utilities Code section 1231.1 to an amount of $3,765,000 to be set aside in fiscal year 2014-15 for maintaining automatic grade crossing protection devices. The Communications Division has prepared Resolution T-17402 for the September 5, 2013, Commission Meeting. This Draft Resolution affirms the rejection of Resolution T-17382, rejected by a vote of Commissioners at the March 21, 2013, Commission meeting, which resulted in the denial of Channel Islands Telephone Company’s (CITC) Rural Telecommunications Infrastructure Grant Program request, for $2,693,000. This resolution also approves $93,791.31 to reimburse the CITC for Phase 2 preparation costs, and $18,000 to increase the Energy Division’s California Environmental Quality Act review, contract No. 08PW5758.
