content which is relevant for the mission and to draft and disseminate mission’s press reviews; To support the PPIO in updating the mission’s website and social media sites; To translate PPIO products from English to Somali and media contents from Somali to English; To assist in drafting printed materials for the mission; To contribute to the arrangements of events and visits of journalists and assist in media contacts,

Reporting LineThe Procurement Assistant will report to the Chief of Procurement Unit or his/her substitute.

Main Tasks Advise the Requesting Units during the pre-tendering phase, including market surveys and

preparation of the justification documents; Prepare tender dossiers, mainly below 20,000 EUR, but also above 20,000 EUR when required; Perform the duties of Secretary as part of formal Procurement Evaluation Committees, including

the drafting in English of the relevant documentation as detailed in the PRAG annexes; Advise the Project Managers during the implementation of contracts; Notify to tenderers the launch and award of procurement procedures; Arrange award and signature of contracts; Maintain good order in the Procurement Section Archives and take care of their preservation; Keep track, register and archive all documentation generated at all stages of the Procurement

Main Tasks and Responsibilities To assist in project planning and development and support the implementation of the Mission’s

projects, in relation to Somaliland institutions/organizations and other international partners; To frequently visit the headquarters and local branches of Somaliland institutions, partners in/be-

neficiary of the projects, and work together with/support the national project teams in order to ad-vance the project activities;

To assess project proposals within Somaliland specific legal and socio-economic environment and make recommendations on the feasibility and sustainability of projects;

To support and, when needed, provide advice to project leaders (within the Mission's operational components) in preparing English/Somali versions of project documents such as project propos-als, project budgets, notes of understanding, project agreements, etc.;

To support and facilitate organization/participation of Somaliland delegations to workshops, con-ferences, official events abroad;

To provide advice or written analysis in order to ensure that project proposals are in line with the Mission’s programmes and are properly coordinated within the Mission and with Somaliland stakeholders;

To facilitate the communication on projects both internally (project leaders - elements of Mission Support) and externally (project leaders – external stakeholders);

To maintain a records of the project activities and prepare briefs and updates on project progress for partner Somaliland institutions;

To support, upon project completion, post-project reporting and evaluation, as well as compiling in English/Somali evaluation reports for internal and external stakeholders;

To support, mainly within partner Somaliland institutions, mentoring on project/grant manage-ment, the development of best practices on project management, provision of training recom-mendations and facilitate arrangements for recording lessons identified/learnt;

To receive, review, analyse, assign, process and track certified requisitions submitted for procure-ment action;

To liaise with the Mission's international partners in close coordination with the Mission's Co-ordination and Cooperation capability;

To travel to EUCAP Field Offices (Mogadishu, Garowe), other locations in Somalia/Somaliland, EUCAP Nairobi back office, as well as to other locations abroad in order to provide support for project activities and facilitation for Somaliland official delegations;

In coordination with members of the Project Cell, under the guidance of the Project Cell Coordin-ator and with approval of the line manager, to travel to various sites with the purpose of perform-ing needs assessments, project activities preparation and organization, reception of supplied de-livered in the projects, while accurately documenting such activities;

Reporting LineThe Political Officer/Translator will support the Head of Field Office and the Department of Operations under the overall guidance of the Head of Field Office. In his/her capacity as Political Officer, he/she will provide assistance on all operational political issues, as necessary, to the Advisers at EUCS Headquarters and its field offices. In his/her capacity as Translator, he/she will conduct translations and provide interpretation support to the international staff in the context of the implementation of the EUCAP mandate. The duties will be performed mainly in Hargeisa/Berbera with a possibility of duty travel to other regions, when the need arises. This position reports to the Head of Field Office, and is responsible for:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities Providing political expertise and advice on political issues related to the host country political

framework, including advice on host country regulatory and other instruments, mechanisms and arrangements.

Preparing, under the guidance of the Advisers, draft documents on political issues pertaining to the implementation of EUCS’ mandate.

Assisting the Advisers in all areas of their respective work, including liaising with local inter-locutors, assisting in the preparation and delivery of training courses, the organization of work-shops and other events.

Support in coordination, strategies, policies and notes etc. regarding SL Maritime Structures. Translating documents from Somali into English and vice versa. Providing interpretation services in meetings with Somali interlocutors. Preparing talking points for the Advisers ahead of meetings with Somali interlocutors. Preparing and participating in meetings, conferences and other events, preparing meeting reports. Maintaining the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with assigned tasks and responsibil -

ities, as well as with all EUCS documents and information. Perform any other related duties as instructed by the line manager or designated alternate.

The Logistics Assistant will be under the supervision of the Logistics Assistant in the Field Office or, in her/his absence, of the Head of Field Office.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Inventory, stock and warehouse management Facility maintenance Vehicle fleet management Monitor and facilitate repair orders Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items Transporting and receiving goods Interact with third party logistics service providers Create packing lists and update shipment information in database Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity Ensure that all items are properly numbered and tagged Disposal of unserviceable or damaged items Review bills, invoices and purchase orders Ensure all payments are processed in time Trace, track and expedite purchase processes Organize files both manually and electronically Submit reports to the line managers Must be ready to work both indoors and outdoors under extreme conditions. Capacity to load and

move heavy equipment as required with adequate tools. Working schedule is day shift with flexibility to respond to urgent needs. May be required to work
