The Carwash   

Read the comprehension and choose the correct answer for each question. Write it out in full in your jotter. Remember to present your work neatly.

Task 1   - OLI. Is to create an advertisement.    Create an advertisement for Lenny’s carwash.

To do this successfully, think about using: useful information, bold and neat handwriting, eye-catching colour and pictures. Think carefully about the presentation, maybe using a border.

Task 2. OLI. Is to use descriptive language.   The author using onomatopoeia to describe the carwash. Can you identify the words?

Task 3. OLI. Is to use speech marks correctly.   Lenny has a conversation with his family. The author uses speech marks to show this.
