Minutes ofJanuary 7, 2016 Meeting

*Pres. Emory Saghy called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

*Since most of us had eaten prior to the start of the meeting, we all said our own blessing of the food.

*Treasurer’s Report given by Sec/Treasurer Linda DiBella: $200 in petty cash, Checking Acct. $3,062.58 with no deposits, and disbursements in the amount of $1,788.56.

*The Board members of the Tri-Beach Cruisers will remain the same for 2016. All members were voted in by a majority vote. They are as follows: President – Emory Saghy; Vice President – Larry Snyder; Secretary/Treasurer – Linda DiBella.

*Dues for 2016 are being collected now. Please attend the next meeting or contact the Treasurer, Linda DiBella (910-755-6066) if you would like to join and pay in person.

*We are discussing having vendors at our Home Depot Show in April. Since we have some time to decide, the discussion was tabled.

*The December Toy Run was a huge success. Jerome Munna reported that there were 116 motor cycles and 60 classic cars. $4700 was spent on children that day and another $2500 shortly after that.

*T-shirts for the Home Depot show will be designed by the Sign Shoppe and will be ordered by Dennis Kunce and Larry Snyder. Dennis & Larry will approach sponsors for the Home Depot show to collect donations.

*It was decided to make changes to the classes for the Home Depot Show to allow more/different types of autos. It was also decided to discontinue the cash awards for Best of Show. * Upcoming events:

April 23 17th Annual “Bash at the Beach” car show at Home Depot, Shallotte (flyer forthcoming)

April 30 Boliva Fire Dept. car show, 5:30 pm

May (tbd) Cape Fear Cruisers car show, Eric’s Grille, Southport WalMart

May 28 7th Annual “Hot Rods & Hamburgers”, Ocean City Chevrolet

May (tbd) Spring Toy Run, WalMart, Shallotte

June (tbd) Brunswick Island Baptist Church car show, Supply

Oct (tbd) 3rd Annual Car Show at Naber Dodge, Shallotte

Nov. 5 24th Annual Pecan Festival, Whiteville

Dec. (tbd) Christmas Toy Run, WalMart, Shallotte

Cruise-In information:

March 8 Smithfield’s Bar-B-Q cruise in, 6-8 pm2nd Tues of every month

1st Tues of every month, Smithfield Bar-B-Q, Leland, 6-8 pm

Every Friday – Burky’s Grill, Myrtle Beach, Carolina Dream Cruisers cruise in 6-9 pm
