I work as a white-water rafting guide. I love my job and Iwouldn’t want to do anything else, but sometimes it canbe very difficult. Before we set off, I gave them all wetsuits. We practisedpaddling movements and I made sure they all knew whatto do when I shouted instructions. One of these grand temples was apyramid-shaped temple that stood 91 metreshigh in the palace gardens and was the tallestbuilding in Babylon. Many ancient writerscalled it the ‘Tower of Babel’. The King alsobuilt another amazing place in Babylon.According to ancient writings, he constructedthe Hanging Gardens of Babylon to honour hiswife. Archaeologists have yet to find evidenceof the existence of these mythical gardens thathung from a terraced building. Besides the amazing architecture, life in the cityof Babylon was great.
