Getting started with Web conferencing

• Online conferencing room (videoconference and to collaborate on documents, maximum of 15 simultaneous participants, using text chat, a headset and a webcam).

 

For online seminars and other large meetings (with 100 people), SURFnet offers a separate service: SURFgroepen seminar.

Videoconferencing

• Present a presentation or documents• Use a whiteboard• Talk/Chat• Use of webcam possible• Exchange documents• Edit documents

All you need is a microphone, speakers (or a headset) and (optional) a webcam!

This is what you will see after the login..

Here you can see your own name and the names of people who are logged on to the webconference room or the teamsite. There is no need to invite people..when you login.. you will be in the videoconferencing room automatically

You can use this “Chat” section if your audio doesn’t work..just type here and enter..
