More cannabis factories
Two more cannabis factories were found
during the last two weeks as a result of
search warrants. One on Regina Road in
South Norwood where the local team re-
covered just over 20 full grown plants and
the occupant was arrested for cannabis
cultivation and abstracting electricity. The
second was on Middlefields, Selsdon Vale
& Forestdale where the local officers
found 87 plants with a professional set up.
Nobody resides at the address and it is
clearly rented for the purposes of growing
cannabis. This is a growing trend across
Croydon (excuse the pun!) and the more
we close the more pop up.

Stop and search works Priddy’s yard
An excellent stop and search by APS Neil Alli-
son of the Tasking Team. He observed two
males making an exchange on Priddy’s Yard
near East Croydon and used his search powers.
The subject was found with two bags of canna-
bis, a burner phone and the knife in the picture
above. He has been charged with possession of
points & blades and possession of cannabis.
CBO breaches
Three individuals who have been issued Crimi-
nal Behaviour Orders reappeared last week
during Operation Mankib and were arrested for
breaching their conditions. All three were
charged and remanded to court. We hope to
obtain more so watch this space.

More drugs Stanger Road
Officers from the SNT, Tasking Team and Street Du-
ties executed simultaneous drugs warrants at differ-
ent locations linked to one dealer. One address was
negative and it appeared that the second was also
going to draw a blank. One of the officers managed
to pull of a fake panel from above the microwave and
two large wraps of class A were found. Unfortunately
the photo doesn't have anything to show the scale
but both pieces were the size of credit cards. The
owner returned to the Police Station to collect his
new keys, as we’d carefully removed his door with a
battering ram, and was promptly arrested for posses-
sion with intent to supply class A.
Thornton Heath Officers we on patrol responding to concerns of
drug dealing in Beulah Road. As they walked into
the road they spotted who they believed was the
tenant of the addressed concerns. They had
cause for concern and used their stop and search
powers. A clear plastic container was found hid-
den under a nearby car with multiple wraps of
class A found inside. The suspect was arrested
for possession with intent to supply class A and
his house was searched as well. Further quanti-
ties of class A and B were found in the house
including scales and money which led to the
mother being arrested as well.
The team also conducted a joint visit with Immi-
gration at a premises in Thornton Heath. Two
were arrested for illegal entry and as they were
leaving a male who is well known in the locality
for anti-social behaviour urinated in front of the
officers. He was arrested for outraging public
decency, charged and we are also looking at a
CBO for him.
Closure Notice Stroud Green Gardens
PC Dean Littlewood has been hard at work
helping the Council to secure a Closure Notice
at Stroud Green Gardens. This is after a raft of
anti-social behaviour calls to Police and the local
authority. The tenant has been evicted, the prop-
erty has been secured and will be closed for
some time.
