This year we continue our work to spread the floorball sport across

the world. As an important part of our intense co-operation with the

International Floorball Federation we focus heavily on supporting

the big international floorball events. In December 2011 the

women´s World Floorball Championships took place in St Gal-

len, Switzerland (see the picture to the right), and it was a

huge success. This year we will put a lot of effort into support-

ing the next big international tournament: The men´s World

Floorball Championships, which will also take place in Switzer-

land. As always, we will provide the official WFC match ball, CR8ER,

which has its own special orange colour for all IFF events.

The Air Pressure Rail System are two parallel grooves that are placed exactly in the area which

is subject to the most pressure when firing a shot. They create a reinforced construction and

channel the force in the shot direction.

The shaft is a brand new 1.0 Curve shaft that features a reduced angle

for easier handling.

Another Power Rail has been placed along the front tip of the shaft to give added strength

to the Curve construction.

After last year´s success of Power Bow we now introduce Power Curve, a new

shaft technique based on the same features that made its predecessor so popular.

The Air Pressure Rail System is still there, along with the comfortable Window Grip

in Semi-VS design. The major change is that we have replaced the Bow shaped shaft

with a brand new 1.0 Curve shaft for this model, to be able to offer this great shaft

technique to even more player types.

The popular Window Grip in Semi-VS design offers a good grip at the same as it visualizes the shape of the shaft.

This world sensation is yet another fantas-tic invention by Unihoc. The lower part of the shaft is curved to create an increased angle towards the blade, adding increased power to the shots. We guarantee that the Curve shaft will give you a completely new floorball experience. Once you have tried your first shot you will know what we mean. The shaft is available with three different curved angles, and also with various flex. Material: Air Pressure Carbon Fibre.

Actually, this is not a stick technique in its real sense. It is more a setup of the com-ponents of a complete stick, which togeth-er reduce the total weight of the model enough to create one of our lightest sticks yet. The materials used in the grip band and in the blade are the lightest ones avail-able on the market, and the result is sim-ply Feather Light. To top it off, the Unihoc logos have been embossed into the shaft with a magnificent result. Material: Air Pressure Carbon Fibre.

Power Bow is an enhanced version of the Bow shaft, featuring a reduced angle on the shaft and introducing the Air Pressure Power Rail System, which reinforces the construction and channels the power in the shot direction. Our new Window Grip in Semi-VS design offers a great grip at the same time as it visualizes the shape of the shaft. Material: Air Pressure Carbon Fibre.

The Top Light shaft is one of the most popular Unihoc shafts of all times, giving a completely new feeling for the game. This year we have improved the construction of the stick to be able to reduce the total weight even further.Material: Light weight Carbon Fibre.

PRODUCTION PROCESS – Floorball shafts

To create a floorball shaft you need strong and durable raw materials. Our floorball shafts consist of top class carbon fibre and glass fibre, and normally a stick is a mix of these two materials, which is called composite. Simply put, you could say that the higher proportion carbon fibre used in the shaft, the better the final product becomes in terms of strength, stiffness, performance and low weight. The rebound of the shaft also gets faster by using a high percentage of carbon fibre in the shaft.

The production process of a shaft is very time consuming and consists of over 100 different steps before the final product is finished. The small pieces of woven carbon fibre pre-preg, which is the raw material that you start with, is placed along the shaft at different angles to give strength at the exactly cor-

rect positions and pressure points. Each shaft model is unique and the pattern for placing the carbon fibre is very different from stick to stick. For instance, a curved shaft has certain requirements and a straight shaft has completely different needs.

After having created the correct pattern of pre-preg pieces, the shaft is heated to 150 degrees Celsius inside a customized oven for approximately 40 min-utes. Then the manual process of refining the shaft begins, and the customiza-tion includes a very large number of steps before the final product is complete with paint, decal, grip band and packaging. In our opinion, it´s a piece of art.

This bamboo shaped shaft is created with step power technique, bringing several ad-vantages to the finished product. Its inge-nious, yet simple construction makes it pos-sible to create an extremely light shaft and still keep the strength of the flex. The fine-tuned balance of the shaft is extraordinary. Power Curve is our brand new shaft tech-nique that combines the advantages of the Curve shaft with the Air Pressure Rail Sys-tem and the popular Window Grip Semi-VS. The angle of the shaft has been reduced slightly so that we can now introducethe new 1.0 Curve shaft.Material: Air Pressure Carbon Fibre.

The unique Bubble technology moves the flex closer to the blade, which adds a greater kick to the shot.Material: Air Pressure Carbon Fibre.

BLOCKER is a modern goalie set created for the middle-end segment and it can be used either by goalies who practise seriously on a regular basis or by goalies who merely play for the sake of exercise. The BLOCKER sweater is available in two different colour combos and the pants are designed to suit both sweater designs. The set offers good qualities for both practise and match, and it also matches the BLOCKER goalie masks perfectly.
