    3 When d1sassembhng the cycle, keep together mated parts gears, cyhnders, p1stons and other parts 'mated' m the course of normal wear and tear Such parts must be e1ther re used together or comptetely replaced

    4 Ounng d1sassembly clean ali parts and piace them 1n trays 1n arder of d1sassembly Th1s makes reassembly qwcker and helps assure that ali parts are assembled properly

    GASKETS, OIL SEALS ANO OAINGS

    Ali gaskets, oli seals and 0-nngs should be reptaced dunng engtne overhauls Ali gasket surtaces, otl seal llps and 0-rmgs must be cleaned pnor to assembly

    2 Properly oli ali matmg parts and beanngs dunng reassembly Apply grease to otl seal hps

    LOCK WASHERS, PLATES ANO COTTER PINS

    Ali lock washers, plates (1) and cotter pms must be replaced once removed Lock tabs must be bent along the bolt or nut surfaces after the bolt or nut has been properly tJght-ened

    BEARINGS ANO OIL SEALS
