Main DescriptionThis is a one off beautifully presented woodland retreat located high up in the treetops above Pont Creek just off the Fowey estuary. The house has been cleverly renovated by the present owners and is operated as a hugely successful holiday let not only because of the fabulous decor but also because of the amazing position backing on to National Trust fields and woodlands that run down to the quay on Pont Creek. This is a magical setting with fabulous walks as well as huge potential for water based activities as well as having easy access to Polruan, Fowey and the rest of the estuary. Outside there is plenty of off road parking as well as gardens that surround the house. The owners have created a huge wooden decking to sit out and enjoy the views on to Pont Creek and the woods. The house has been designed and renovated to be a fun, exciting holiday let for

families and groups who love the outdoors and messing about on the river. It would also be wonderful as a family home. Please note that on google maps, the pictures are taken before the house was renovated. See a virtual tour showing the magnificent location in which the property is set.

Location Pont is designated an area of outstanding beauty (AONB) and was the inspiration for many writers including Daphne Du Maurier. The area is a haven for walkers with many footpaths around the creeks and coastline to the neighbouring villages. For water lovers, the present owners have moorings off the quay at the head of the creek from the National Trust and the purchasers may wish to apply to continue this. The historic town of Fowey is just two miles away, via the Bodinnick Ferry also within a couple of miles is the beautiful waterside village of Polruan. Nearby Fowey town centre has an eclectic mix of independent shops and colourful restaurants, and is a pleasure to explore. Fowey has local primary and secondary schools, together with leisure centre, numerous pubs, churches and post office, and provides a wonderful place to live as well as visit. Polruan is also close by and is a traditional waterside village situated on the east bank of the River Fowey. Polruan has shops, inns, cafe, many trading all year round catering for most everyday requirements.   Directions From our office in Fowey proceed through the town and take the Bodinnick ferry over the estuary.
