About TowMate, LLC

TowMate started from its humble beginnings in the 80's. Bryan Anderson, the founder of the company, was working

in the storage pool business and often ran his own truck. Never asking his employees to do something that he

wouldn't do, a call came one bitter cold night and off Bryan went. As he was working on the job a thought came to

him, someone should manufacture and sell wireless tow lights so that he would not need to spend so much time in

the cold. From that passing thought and wish TowMate was born.

Bryan headed to the office the next morning with thoughts running through his mind and different ideas of what could

be done with this product. He did his diligent research and found that no one was currently selling wireless tow lights

and the designing began.

Bryan set out on a mission, to make it an easier task to use tow lights and to change the way the world tows. Fast

forward a few short years and several designs and prototypes later and TowMate is going strong. Bryan's goal of

changing the towing world is going and growing strong with customers around the world. TowMate was started with

one product and has grown to more than 8 different wireless tow lights. Most of which can be customized for cus-

tomer specific needs. They are all backed by the TowMate lifetime warranty.

Everything TowMate has been working towards has begun to culminate in 2011. From the expansion of our dealer

network making the procurement of products and services a hassle free experience, to the refinement of existing

product lines, to the development of new technologies for safety lighting systems, we have dedicated all of our re-

sources to making our products more reliable, more versatile, and more available to our customers. Our current

electronics achieve a better range than ever before (over 1,000 feet!) and are made to be compatible with our iMON

interactive monitoring system that informs you if you leave your light behind in addition to other features. The latest

endeavor TowMate has set upon is the development of the Power-Link power line technologies. These technologies

make installation of any kind of safety lighting easier than ever by eliminating the need to run wires all the way from

a given safety light to its respective controller in the cab. With Power-Link technologies, you have the power to com-

pletely customize the way your vehicle is seen with minimal effort required. Keep an eye out for more exciting devel-

System Expansion

Expand beyond the lightbar by adding additional Power-Link LED emergency lighting strips

(PLC100 Series) to your truck.

These 15 ¾” strips mount with two screws and connect to 12V power and

ground.

Link the PLC100 LED strip to activate when a specific pattern on the PLC56 over-

head lightbar is selected. This is done by activating the desired pattern on the

overhead lightbar and then waving a magnet over the end labeled “L” on the 15

¾” LED strip. Change which PLC100 is linked to which function of the Power-

Link lightbar any time by simply repeating the process.

Choose which of 10 flash patterns you wish to have the PLC100 display by cy-

cling through them with a wave of a magnet on the end labeled “S”.

PLC-TX

The PLC-TX, 6-Channel Transmitter, is the brain of TowMate’s all new Power-Link Technology. The transmitter is designed to run on your automotive DC power line. With 6 color-coded wires, the transmitter can easily be connected to a new or existing switch panel. Each wire represents a distinct switch input and can be combined with multiple wires to be controlled by one switch. So, ultimately you can operate multiple lights with the flip of merely 1 switch. Want to change which switch operates certain lights? It’s simple with Power-Link Technology. Simply link the Transmitter wires to the Switch you want to control.
