Reading Visit Bug Club. See your login details in the front of your home learning book. Read

a story set by your teacher.

Log in and read a book then you can try a quiz, we hope you are reading each book at least

3 times…

1, Read once to work out the sounds to make words.

2, Read twice to work out the words and their meanings.

3, Read a third time to make sure the sentences make sense.

4, Read a fourth time (with expression), as if you are a great story-teller and you

want them to listen!!! We will look to see who is reading and how many times you have read each book.

It is a great way to keep reading at home. Choose one or two books a week and remember to read it every day to

practise your reading skills. It is how well you can read, not how fast!

Think about all the rubbish we create…Think before you drop litter. Could

you be a good citizen and pick up litter (wearing gloves and being safe)? How many bags of

rubbish could you collect? Could you make a poster for your window or for the

school fence, that says “don’t drop litter”, or “take your litter home”
