    TODOROVSNARRATIVE THEORY

    1. Equilibrium: The first scene of our thriller of acquired identity would start with the

everyday routine of the protagonists seemingly normal life and her babysitting duties.

    2. A problem disrupts this equilibrium: The audience become aware of the protagonists

obsession as she causes the model to overdose and takes over her identity.

    3. A recognition that a problem has occurred: A friend of the model comes to check on how

she is doing and becomes suspicious at the odd behavior of her friend when in fact this

is the protagonist claiming her identity

    4. An attempt to repair the damage of the disruption: The protagonist changes the models

documents to match her identity and runs away abroad in order to escape the rumors and

    pursue her new identity.

    5. A return or restoration of a new sort of equilibrium; The protagonist is so against returningto her former, isolated life that she feels she has no choice but to commit suicide .
