Well done! CHERRY BLOSSOM - Alvinamarie, for some super reading. Well done! WILLOW - Charlie R, for a super drawing of his Christingle. Well done! LARCH - Jack W, for some great computing work. Well done! OAK - Ellie R, for making a great start to her ‘Jumanji’ narrative. Well done! INFORMATION: CHRISTINGLE ASSEMBLY On Monday 2nd Dec, the whole school spent some of the morning making Christingles with their class teachers and in the afternoon they brought them into the main hall for a Christingle Assembly, which was led by Rev Alison Wallbank. Alison explained the meaning of the Christingle and why it is an important part of Christmas. photos on page 2………. FOMS CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHT Unfortunately, our FOMS have had to cancel the Christmas Games Night which was due to be held on Friday 13th. They are in the process of rearranging the Games Night which will now be held in the New Year - something for the children to look forward to. TICKETS FOR CHRISTMAS PLAY Just a reminder that tickets are on sale in the school office for the Christmas play, 'Everyone Loves a Baby'. Pupils in Nursery, Cherry Blossom and Willow will be taking part in this lovely Christmas story. Tickets are £2.00 per adult, no charge for children. KS2 CHRISTMAS PLAY Pupils in KS2 have been rehearsing their Christmas play which is called, ‘Christmas Cheer, Achoo!’ The performance will be held on Tuesday 17th December in the school hall at 6pm. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 9th December, available from the school office priced at £2 per adult - no charge for children. AFTER SCHOOL GYMNASTICS Please be advised that the After School Gymnastics coaching which had been moved to Tuesday 10th December (for one week only) has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. GUITAR + UKELELE CONCERT On Thursday 12th December at 11.15am, pupils in Willow class and pupils from the guitar group are holding a music concert. All parents/family members are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the music. PANTOMIME TRIP Just a reminder that the whole school will be going to the Pantomime on Monday 9th December. All pupils will need to bring a packed lunch to school and there will be no Nursery provision that day. CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY Our school will be supporting the ‘Save the Children’ charity on Friday 13th December by joining in with Christmas Jumper Day. All pupils and staff can come to school wearing their special jumper and we ask is for a suggested donation of £1. FOOTBALL COACHING Please be advised that Football Coaching will not take place on Monday 16th December, a refund has been issued to KS1 pupils and an amendment to KS2 pupils. Football Coaching will recommence on 13th January 2020. If you would like your child to attend, please complete a form and return to the school office. CHRISTINGLE ASSEMBLY

On Monday 2nd Dec, the whole school spent some of

the morning making Christingles with their class

teachers and in the afternoon they brought them into

the main hall for a Christingle Assembly, which was led

DANCE/EXERCISE CLUB We are excited to announce that Dawn Benson is offering a FREE 'Dance and Exercise' club which will be open to both girls and boys, aged 5 - 8 years old. This exciting new club will be held every Monday morning from 8.00am to 8.40am and will commence Monday 13th January 2020 (excluding Monday 20th January 2020) and run up until the Easter holidays. The fun and active programme aims to help build self-confidence alongside the benefits of regular exercise and there may be the opportunity to take a small exam and gain a qualification. School PE Kits will be required. Please register your child with the school office as soon as possible and no later than Wednesday 8th January 2020.
