The past two years have been a wilderness experience for me. I had

no church home or church family to call my own. It’s difficult to ex-

press just how overjoyed I am to return to the fold, my home and fam-

ily at FPC-Owasso! What a blessing to see so many familiar faces

and so many new families. I look forward to restoring past friendships

and creating new ones.

A parent meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30th at 6:00

p.m.. I hope you will mark your calendars and plan to attend. Please

bring your ideas and I will share mine with you. The next few months

will be an adventure we

take together and I’m eager

to get started!

Congratulations!

New Youth Minister!

Sara Davis has been in youth ministry for four years. She

attends the OKUMC Youth Workers Academy, a two-year

program for youth ministers throughout Oklahoma. When

completed, Sara will have a paraprofessional certification in

youth ministry. Sara is a proud supporter of the arts. She

plays piano and is a song writer and has a huge heart for

music ministry. In her free time she enjoys a game of ulti-

mate Frisbee and creating artwork. Sara is very excited to meet all of the youth

and their families at FPC Owasso!

Join our new Youth Minister, Sara Davis for a light meal, followed by a Bible

Study, games, and more!

Dollar Days of Summer

Help us raise money for missions all summer by

putting your dollar bills and spare change in the

plate during worship! It will support Owasso Com-

munity Resources, our sister church in Malawi, the

Youth Café, and Meals on Wheels!

gram for 6-12th graders on Wednes-

days and Fridays from 12:00pm -

1:30pm until August 11th. We need

volunteers with Jennifer on Friday,

July 28th or Wednesday, August 2nd,

and with Laura on Friday August 11th!

family! Cara and Ryan are expecting a little boy
