You need this. Whether it’s for a promotion in your current career or a jump into something new, this is obviously important to you, so invest time into making it a success.
Make a list of all your priorities and even if you only have 5 minutes between work and school pick-up each time and 2 hours at night, you have the time to invest in your future.
TIP
If you make it a priority, you’ll always find the time

It’s a common misconception that online degrees are easier and not worth as much as on-campus qualifications. As an online student, you will study the same course materials as your on-campus equivalents, but you’ll have the flexibility to study when it suits you.
Online study isn’t self-paced, you’ll need to ensure you meet the same deadlines and you’ll get the same job-ready skills as on-campus students.
An online degree is definitely not one you can shake out of the cereal box with your morning coffee and will be just as challenging and rewarding as if you studied on-campus.
Your degree from USQ is accredited by a number of governing bodies, not Uncle Toby’s, and you can find out more about our degree accreditations at www.usq.edu.au/about-usq/about-us/quality-of-degree
TIP
If you shake a cereal box, an online degree from USQ will not fall out

No-one will ever know that you studied at home in your pyjamas, on your yearly beach holiday, or in the car as you wait to pick the kids up from school.
We can assure you, your mode of study won’t be on your degree certificate or academic transcript.
Online study is an excellent way to fit study into your life and your mode of study won’t hinder your career opportunities.
TIP
Your mode of study won’t show on your testamur

You can contact your lecturer and other students studying with you online via your StudyDesk, or share your experiences with us on social media. Either way, you’ll find like-minded study buddies and support from the USQ team whenever you need it. Technology has allowed us greater connection and studying online means you can Skype, chat on online forums as well your StudyDesk.
Find out how we can support you with your online study by checking out our short animated video www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep9QxFa4nII&index=10&list=PLtw48XbzNMfKuEARn1AwF3vBaMyQA495y
TIP
‘Online’ definitely doesn’t mean ‘on your own’

If you have a phone, laptop, tablet or textbook, you can study pretty much anywhere. Your study tools are as mobile as you are, so you can learn on the go.
Whether you choose to study overseas, at the footy, in your pyjamas, or even camping by a river bank, they all qualify as acceptable study spaces when you study online.
Find a study space that works for you and don’t be afraid to study wherever you are.
TIP
Study anywhere, anytime
