    A minimum of ten (10) years of working experience, five years ofwhich must be at high managerial position in a reputableInstitution.

    (c) Main Duties:

    Assists and advises management in the development andmodification of basic personnel policies and procedures;

    Monitors decentralized personnel and administrative activities toDepartments to ensure compliance with approved policies andprocedures;

    Monitors personnel action such as performance appraisals,promotion, merit increases, internal transfers and termination ofservices and provides advice and other assistance as required to

    achieve equitable treatment of employees and consistency in theapplication of the University's Personnel Policies;

    9. (a) Job Title: Chief Laboratory Technician (1 post)Department: University Health Centre

    (b) Qualifications and ExperienceApplicants should possess the following academic and professionalqualifications.

    Holder of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology Possession of an Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory

    Technology will be an added advantage.

    A minimum of ten (10) years of working experience, five years ofwhich must be at senior position in a reputable Institution.

    (c) Main Duties:

    Collecting specimen (arterial puncture, capillary punctures andveno-punctures) as appropriate for the patient requiring the

    procedure. Performs various laboratory tests (haematology, immune-

    haematology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, routinechemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring) according to establishedlaboratory protocols and procedures.

    Calibrates, standardizes and maintains instruments followingestablished procedures.

    Drafts audit reports for executed audit programmes, scrutinizes andadvises the Department members on the recommendations byExternal Auditors,
