  • Logging into Synergy

    This is the login screen of your updater. To access your updater you must enter you username and password into the text boxes, shown in the screenshot above.

  • Once you have login successfully you will be taken to this page, known as the updater of your website. From this page you will have access to the different website management functions for your site such as Manage Content, Media Files etc.

  • ‘Manage Content’ shows all the webpages within your website, in here you can manage all the content on these pages.

  • These arrows will allow you to order your webpages by moving them up or down. The order of these webpages is entirely your preference.

    Beside Order there is a section called Functions with a list of buttons below it. These buttons are shown below and they give you the option to activate/deactivate a certain web page, edit a web page, delete a web page or view a web page live on the browser.

    Activate or deactivate pages. Edit the page. Delete the page. View the page. Share a page on Facebook linked to the site. Share a page on Twitter linked to the site.

  • Editing a Webpage

    To edit the content of a webpage, click on the edit icon on the ‘Manage Content’ page, a page like the one above will appear. In here you can rename the page by entering a new name into the ‘Name’ field. In the ‘Description’ box you can edit the content of the page by entering text in the WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) or by using the functions along the top.

  • Adding Images/Files to Synergy

    Click on ‘Media Files’ on the navigation on the left-hand side and click ‘Add Multiple Files’ here you can add up to 20 files at a time.

    Adding a Document to a Webpage

    1. Upload the document to the ‘Media Files’ 2. Go back to ‘Manage Content’ and click the edit icon of the desired page 3. Click on the ‘Media’ tab along the top 4. Along the right-hand side there is a small gallery showing all the media files to add these to

    the page click ‘Add to page’

  • Adding an Image to a Webpage There are two ways to add and display images on a webpage. To display images throughout the content, follow the first method. To display images in a specific area set up in the layout follow method 2.

    Method 1 1. Upload the image to the ‘Media Files’ 2. Select the ‘View’ icon below the image

    3. Copy the URL 4. Go back to ‘Manage Content’ and click the edit icon of the desired page 5. Select the image icon from the function along the top of the WYSIWYG

    6. A pop up box like the one below will appear, paste the URL you copied into the field named ‘URL’

    7. You can also edit the image in here e.g. align the image to the left/right. 8. Click ‘OK’

  • Adding a New Webpage

    To add a new webpage, click on ‘Add Page’ under ‘Manage Content’ in the navigation on the left-hand side, you will be presented with a screen like below. Here you can select whether you want the page to appear in the navigation or add a page to an existing section.

  • If it is new content and you select which navigation you want to add the page to you will be able to select the type of page you want depending on the type of content you are adding.

  • Managing Users Within users you can add, edit, activate/deactivate and delete users.

    Mail List Within ‘Mail List’ you can see those people who have subscribed to your newsletters, you can also manually add a new subscriber by click on ‘Add New Subscriber’ in the menu on left-hand side. As well as that you can add, edit or remove mail list categories. you can also export the enquiries to a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file. This file is like a spreadsheet which stores data in a plain-text form.

  • Managing Enquiries To manage enquiries, click on ‘Manage Enquiries’ on the menu on the left-hand side. Within here you can see all the enquiries submitted through the enquiry form on your website. You can view, edit and remove enquiries, you can also export the enquiries to a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file.

    Manage Bookings To manage bookings, click on ‘Manage Bookings on the menu on the left-hand side. Within here you can see all the bookings made by your customers through the booking form on your website. You can view, edit and remove bookings, you can also export the bookings to a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file.

  • Manage Gift Vouchers To manage gift vouchers, click on ‘Manage Gift Vouchers’ on the menu on the left-hand side. Within this section you can see all the requested gift vouchers from your customers submitted through the gift vouchers form on your website. You can view, edit and remove gift vouchers, you can also export the bookings to a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file.

  • Settings Within settings you can manage auto-responders, company details and Facebook and Twitter details. In autoresponders you can select whether or not to send an automatic email when someone submits a form on your website. You can edit these for each different form on the website e.g. you may have a contact us form and a booking form you can add an autoresponder to one and not the other and edit the email that is automatically sent. Within company details you can edit your company details in here e.g. business address, telephone number etc. Within Facebook and Twitter details you can link your Facebook and Twitter to your website.
