Strathalbyn Racing Club offers a range of hospitality packages for corporate functions and social occasions throughout the racing season.

Located only 45kms south east of Adelaide, just off the South Eastern Freeway and only 20 minutes from Mount Barker, the boutique Strathalbyn Racecourse is one of South Australia’s best kept secrets for corporate and social entertainment.

Our packages provide a unique and cost effective way to entertain clients, staff or family and friends all year round.

Whether you’re part of the Spring Racing Carnival, celebrating the festive season or just enjoying a great day out at the races, we have a package to suit your style and your budget.

Package options range from our dining room, to friends sharing a mini marquee or groups within a fully catered private marquee.

LANGHORNE CREEK VIGNERONS’ RACE DAY

Experience the fun and excitement of a great day at the races in your own private marquee or in the gorgeous dining room.

Langhorne Creek Vignerons’ Race Day is the perfect event to entertain clients, suppliers and key stakeholders or to reward your hard working staff. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to gather a group of family and friends and enjoy a relaxing day out at the races.

One of the most popular Sunday racing events on the calendar, the atmosphere is electric with live music, gourmet food and superb Langhorne Creek branded wines combined with the thrill of live racing.

Wineries are featured in a designated wine area, offering wine tasting and sales by the bottle or the glass. Insignia glasses are also available for purchase.

STRATHALBYN CUP

Strathalbyn Cup is undoubtedly one of South Australia’s most glamorous provincial cups, where the city and the country meet.

Our celebrated Summer cup features first class racing action on the track, matching the entertainment off the course. Strathalbyn Cup is the perfect day for the fashion conscious and the racing purist, with quality racing, fashion parades by leading designers and the style and glamour of Fashions on the Field.

Once again, the Strathalbyn Cup will be an automatic qualifying heat of Fashion at The Races with the best dressed racegoer on the day securing a spot in the State Final.

Racing commences around noon, but the gates open at 9.30am allowing early birds to secure a prime position and soak up the atmosphere of a day at the races.

FEATURE RACE DAY HOSPITALITY PACKAGES

The Green Room - Fine Dining

$175 per person, $150 per member

The Green Room offers hospitality to guests wishing to celebrate their day at the races in style. Offering fantastic views of the racecourse with full glass frontage, The Green Room allows you to capture all the excitement and atmosphere of your trackside location.

Package includes:

• a sensational three course a la carte luncheon designed by our head chef

• beverages including premium beer, wines, and soft drinks served from midday until the start of the last race (spirits available for purchase)

• racecourse admission

• racebook for each guest

• tea and coffee facilities

• private betting facilities

• TV monitors, and

• linen table cloths and napkins

The Corporate Blue Room

$125 per person (minimum 60 guests)

The Corporate Blue Room is a great hospitality option right in the heart of all the action. Located on the ground level of the members’ enclosure, The Corporate Blue Room opens out into a private fenced area opposite the home straight and adjacent to the mounting yard.

Package includes:

• private trackside air conditioned room

• racecourse admission

• racebook for each guest

• four hour finger food package with service staff

• tea and coffee facilities

• private betting facilities

• TV monitors, and

• private cash bar

Reserved Outdoor Seating Package

$200 per table (six guests per package)

Reserve your favourite trackside location and pre-purchase a Reserved Outdoor Seating Package. Each package includes admission to the racecourse, a market umbrella, garden table and six chairs. The package provides attendees with a great place to relax in the shade all day. If you’ve got 12 people, it’s simple, just book two packages.

The Reserved Outdoor Seating Package combines spectacular racing with a relaxed picnic atmosphere.

• Bring along your own picnic hamper or purchase lunch from one of our quality on-course vendors.

• Drinks packages are not available, but guests have access to on-course public bars.

• BYO non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.

• No glass containers allowed within the racecourse.

Corporate Gourmet Lunch & Beverage Marquee Package

$150 per person (10 or more guests, reduced pricing for children U/18 years)

Package includes:

• exclusive, fully furnished marquee

• gourmet three course lunch designed by our head chef

• fully staffed bar centrally located inside your marquee serving beverages from midday until the start of the last race

• white linen table cloths, linen serviettes, crockery and cutlery

• exclusive outdoor courtyard with outdoor furniture

• racecourse admission, and

• racebook for each guest.

Optional upgrades

• Marquee lining and flooring, coloured chair covers and sashes Individually quoted

• Tote operator in your marquee - $350 each

• TV monitors - $150 each

BBQ Buffet Lunch & Beverage Marquee Package

$125 per person (10 or more guests, reduced pricing for children U/18 years)

Package includes:

• exclusive, furnished marquee

• gourmet BBQ buffet lunch designed by our head chef

• fully staffed bar centrally located inside your marquee serving beverages from midday until the start of the last race

• racecourse admission for each guest, and
