Yarra Plenty Regional Library offers a range of activities and programs for children. This booklet provides details of the pre-literacy Storytimes offered across the library service.

> Bookaroo> Baby Storytime> Toddler Time> Preschool Storytime> Bilingual Storytime> Weekend Storytime> Bedtime Storytime> Inclusive/Sensory Storytime.

In addition to the above Storytimes, we also offer the following programs:

Just4KidsAn after school program for primary school children that can include art, craft, technology, movies and games. Throughout the year, special themed sessions are delivered.

Doggy TalesAn innovative way for children to practise their reading with a non-judgemental canine audience. Our Reading Dogs are specially trained for these one-to-one sessions.

Intergenerational StorytimeChildren and seniors come together to share a story.

Interactive Play, Play DateThese sessions develop the skills of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to learn through the power of play.

Numerous other child-friendly activities and programs are offered across the libraries including Knitting Club, Sensory Storytime and LEGO Club. A Toy Library is also available at Lalor and Diamond Valley branches.
