Stakeholders In the Five Daily PrayersSensitization Campaign

Qur’an 98:5

And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give Zakaah. And that is the correct religion.

HadithCommand your children to perform prayer when they become seven years old, and beat them for (not performing) it (i.e. prayer) when they become ten years old. (Tirmizi)

Malawi is blessed with Islamic work. Some notable Islamic organizations, specialize in Madrassah establishment. Yet others concentrate their activities in Dawah work. Not only that, projects such as boreholes, building Masaajid just to mention a few

are also part of Islamic work in Malawi.

To substantiate the fact that Malawi is blessed with Islamic work, we have a special Islamic school for the blind in the name of Tanweer for the Blind in Limbe, where the visually impaired learn Qur’an in braille. This alone is a milestone for Islam.

Yes, all these are vital strides worth praise. However there is one area, neglected as it is, questionable on the Day of Judgement, missing in many Muslims both in rural and urban areas, the Five Daily Muslim Prayers. Islamic organizations and others, we are all stakeholders to ensure that Muslims in Malawi fulfil the command of Allah Ta’ala to pray five times a day.

What we should know is that, we may give the Muslim Ummah the boreholes, establish Madrassahs, give them food packs, pay their school fees, but the most important for them is the establishment of the five Muslim daily prayers. We are attempted to ask, “Who is responsible for sensetizing Muslims to honour the five daily prayers”? Or as a Muslim how do you motivate yourself to pray five times a day? Or what is lacking for Muslims to practice praying five times a day? Is it parents who are the initial foundation bearers?

Despite 5 daily prayers being a command, it is a sad fact that many Muslims do not pray them. Madrassah students daily go to Madrassah but the five daily prayers is not getting into their heart. There is something missing. Many Massajid are only meant for Jumu’ah congregation. In spiritual life, there is nothing like “too late”. The trend must be reversed. Our approach in Dawah work is missing in strengthening the vital link for a human being with Allah Ta’ala, the daily five prayers. As stakeholders what measures should we take?

Islamic Information Bureaus are Islamic libraries. Currently, it operates in 3 districts of Lilongwe, Balaka and Blantyre. IIB is jubilant to inform its publics on events taking place. Details available on page 4, where you will also read about “Marriage Discourse.” The hot issue being:A Muslim woman eagerly Contemplating her next marriage proposal as she goes through her divorce process. Does she have the mandate?

QI was born a Christian and now I am a Muslim. My mother is very depressed and says that she is not happy for my embracing Islam. Here is a mother not happy with me,

will Allah Ta’ala forgive me for hurting my mother due to my conversion?

A Islam orders a Muslim to be kind to his or her parents even if they are non-Muslims. If your mother feels hurt due to your conversion to Islam, this does not mean that you have

committed a sin or you will be punished for that in the Hereafter. You are required to approach your mother kindly and to always have good relation with her. Make Dua to Allah Ta’ala to bring your mother closer to Islam.

QThis is something that I regret and may Allah Ta’ala forgive me and accept me. I left Islam years ago for reasons not applicable till today. How can someone return to Islam as

I want to start anew?

AYou should once again recite the Shahaadah (Testimonies of Faith) and start practicing Islam earnestly and sincerely. Be also advised to get in touch with Ulama who would help

you out in your endervour and facilitate things for you. May be you slipped back in the past because of not being around those who inspire you and counsel you for good. Islam teaches us to be part of the community, otherwise you will be like sheep that strays from the herd, ready to be eaten by the wolves.

QWe debated on a Whatsapp forum about inheritance where others were of the view that inheritance makes some people lazy waiting only to inherit. Others wanted

to know under what considerations is inheritance based?

AThe Laws of Inheritance in Islam is based upon five main considerations: (1) To break up the concentration of wealth from the hands of few individuals and to spread it out in society.

(2) To respect right of individual ownership and property earned through honest means. (3) Drives into people’s consciousness the fact that they are not the absolute masters of the wealth they produce but they are only trustees and are therefore not authorized to pass this wealth on to others as they like. (4) To consolidate the family system, which is the social unit of an Islamic society. (5) To give incentive to work and encourage economic activity as sanctioned by Islam.

Q I have just graduated and possess a degree in marketing. While looking for employment, I wonder if working with some marketing companies is Islamically possible?

AYou are doubting working with some marketing companies but in general marketing permissible products is permissible. Of course part of marketing is advertising and advertising

by means of giving incorrect information, hiding information that is crucial, using non-permissible exposure of bodies or language all are not permissible because they are one kind or another of lying. Also marketing non-permissible products like alcohol is not permissible for a Muslim. These include marketing conventional loans through banks and other interest-based activities and transations.

WORDS OF

WISDOM

Acquire knowledge, it enables its professor to distinguish right from wrong; it lights the way to heaven. It is our friend in the desert, our company in solitude and companion when friendless. It guides us to happiness, it sustains us in misery, it is an ornamnet amongst friends and an armour against enemies.

QI am under duress to the extent that my husband accuses me that the financial problems the family is going through is

because of my misfortune. For him abundance in a family is as a result of luck of a wife. What is the stand of Islam on this?

A Money and all sorts of Allah’s gifts (termed Rizq in Arabic) is from Allah Ta’ala and cannot be affected by anyone. This does

not contradict the fact that a person should do his or her best to earn his or her living. So, it is completely wrong and not Islamic to believe that lack of money is as a result of bad luck of wife or husband or any other person.

QI have the passion in business and wants to borrow money for investment in permissible business. Is it permissible

to borrow money for investment?

ATo begin with Riba (usury) is impermissible (not allowed in Islam) in other words it is Haraam. But it is important to define Riba,

which is the increase in a loan or debt. It does not matter for which purpose one borrows money; for consumption or investment. So, you can borrow money to invest as long as you strongly intending and able, to pay it back. A loan without interest is permissible, while a loan with interest is not. Financing investment from a loan without interest is permissible. In other words, the prohibition is of the interest.

QI often forget to form the intention when doing most deeds. What is your advice or rather what should I do?

AIntention (Niyyah) is an important matter, as it is the spirit of deeds through which deeds become valid. The intention turns

permissible deeds into acts of worship, hence we should pay attention to it and make it for the sake of Allah Ta’ala, free from any elements of showing off. Intentions are of two types: (1) Obligatory intention, without which an act of worship is not valid, such as the intention in doing Wuzu, praying,

paying Zakaah (obligatory alms), fasting and doing Hajj. This intention is something that no one can do without. (2) The second type of intention is that which is Mustahab (preferable) in order to attain reward. This is what some other people forget, which is to keep the intention in mind when doing permissible things, so that they will be acts of worship, such as eating, drinking and sleeping. So we should think about what we are intending to do, take stock of ourselves before acting, think about whether it is Halaal or Haraam, then look at your intention.

Q In Malawi and other countries, the issue of bribery which is a form of corruption is the order of the day despite the

government anti corruption drive. We know that offering or accepting a bribe is forbidden in Islam. What can we do in a situation when we cannot gain our rights except through bribery?

AWhat we know is that taking a bribe is a form of devouring people’s wealth wrongfully. A bribe refers to any kind of property offered in

order to obtain a decision or some benefit in favour of oneself or against a rival. Islam has prohibited the Muslim to approach the public officials or their subordinates for the purpose of offering them a bribe. If we find ourselves in a situation in which all avenues of redressing a wrong is blocked, it is preferable to wait patiently. Thus, we are best advised to try our best to find other alternative that will keep us away from the swamp of bribery.

QThe estates of my late father delayed to be sorted out for many years as a result of misunderstandings between the

heirs. What happens to Zakaah on the funds in the estates?

A Zakaah must be paid by the heirs only when they receive their shares of inheritance (after possession) in the form of cash,

gold and silver, for as long as they had not taken possession of their shares, Zakaah not payable.

The Prophet said: Allah will not take away knowledge by snatching it away from people, rather He will take away knowledge by taking away the

Scholars until, when there is no Scholar left, people will turn to ignorant leaders who will issue Fatwas without knowledge.

Q: My husband abandoned our marriage and children for a year now. Is our marriage still binding? If he for any reason decides to return should I accept him or do I have to insist on a fresh marriage contract?

A: Some people may believe that separation means automatic divorce which is incorrect as for divorce to be valid it should be effected by words. The fact that one is separated from his wife in bed or in house can’t be considered a divorce unless the divorce words are uttered. Thus for the case in point there is no need to renew the marriage contract as their marriage is already valid.

Q: If a man tell his wife , that you should always listen to me and live with me on the way I want, and if you don’t do it or if you are not happy to live with me, then you can go and I don’t need you. Is this Talaaq?

A: If a man says to his wife: If you do not do that, or if you’re not happy to live with me, then you can go, and I don’t need you, this is not an explicit divorce (Talaaq); rather it comes under the heading of metaphors for divorce, and metaphors for divorce do not count as such unless they are accompanied by the intention of divorce.

Q: Can a married woman think about marriage proposal as she goes through divorce process?

A: According to the consensus of Muslim Jurists (Ijma) a woman who has been given a revocable divorce and still in her waiting period (Iddah) is prohibited to be proposed to, either openly or by allusion. It is not permissible for a woman to speak about future marriage, until the divorce has come to pass and Iddah has been observed.

Q: The speed of divorce seems to be uncontrollable as observed by some counselling forums. What are the important concepts of marriage couples ought to know as they get into marriage and while they are in marriage?

A: Islam teaches that the relations between the spouses be based on tranquility, love and mercy. These are very important concepts in Islam. It is the duty of the husband and the wife to see that they are a source of comfort and tranquility for each other. No one (husband and wife) should demand from each other what Allah Ta’ala has forbidden.

QMalawi has seen a boom of artists in the recent times. What is the Islamic opinion about Muslims who are

emerging as artists in theatre, Nasheeds and their responsibility?

AAs a religion Islam encourages its followers to make their own distinctive contribution to life around them. We are ordered to

have our own touches in all walks of life. Thus Muslims ought to be given arts and all forms of entertainment that are governed by Shariah. The Muslim community should not leave the arts in the hands of non-Muslims. We should be able to produce our own Shariah regulated forms of arts to deter the evil from the non-Muslims arts providers. There are some Muslims artists who are good and some going far, therefore correction should always take place when there is a violation to the rules and guidelines of the Shariah.

QOf late the cities of Malawi are full of places where lottery games are played where people including some misguided

Muslims on daily basis win money. We want to be enlightened if lottery is allowed in Islam and can we get money in this way?

AThe best way to earn money in Islam is to work hard and employ thought. Islam prohibits a Muslim from earning money

without making any effort. Islam wants people to give their money for good and charitable causes and not through devious and dubious means. Lottery is a form of the prohibited game of chance strictly condemned.

QThe deceased who thought the heirs might use his wealth wrongly formed a trust to regulate his wealth. His heirs are

unable to take possession of their shares of the assets. However, it is possible to dissolve the trust, but the trustees refuse to do so. Are they in violation of the Shariah?

AThe trust mentioned in this regard has no validity in Islam. When a person dies, his heirs automatically become the owners

of their respective shares in the estate of the deceased. It is Haraam to contrive any scheme such as a trust with an intention of depriving or prevent the heirs from making immediate possession of Shar’i shares of inheritance. It is Waajib of the executors to dissolve the trust and to finalize the distribution of the Mayyit’s estate. If the executors/trustees refuse to dissolve the trust despite this being possible, they will be major violaters of the Shariah.

Q I sold a property to someone for a deferred payment and that person sold it for a higher price. Can the transaction

be cancelled because of the loss?

AWhich loss? We understand you sold it based on your assessment of the value of the property. If the sale has been completed

and the purchaser has taken possession of the property, it is permissible for him to sell it for the same price or for more or less, because it has become his property that he may dispose of however he wishes, by giving it away, selling it, renting it out or otherwise. You do not have the right to try to cancel the transaction out of jealousy of the profit that he made.

QWhat is the stand of the Shariah for a person who braggs and boast to his friends about his sins while Allah Ta’ala

had hidden it?

ASpeaking about your sin and flaunting it openly in front of people for example narrating the way you won money in a

lottery game is not allowed and is a major sin.It is one ways of spreading immorality, encouraging evil and tempting others to do similar things. It also mean that one does not take sin seriously and regards it as insignificant. Islam seeks to put people off from doing such things in the strongest possible terms. We are asked to avoid acts of sin and transgression. One wonders then after failing to avoid transgression for which one should regret and repent to Allah Ta’ala, one takes a step further announcing the sin he has done.

QWhat is the importance of truthfulness for personal and business relationship in Islam. The question comes against

the background of widespread corruption and deceit?

ABeing truthful is one of the necessities of a human society, one of the virtues of human behaviour, and brings great benefit. Whilst

cheating, corruption, deceit is one of the major elements of insanity in human society, and the cause of the destruction of social structure and ties. It is one of the most evil features of bad conduct, and cause widespread harm. Hence Islam commanded truthfulness and forbade lying. Allah Ta’ala says in the Noble Qur’an: O you who believe! be afraid of Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deeds) (9:119)

QHow can one purify himself or his place of business from things that may have occurred prior to knowledge that it was

Haraam? For example I borrowed money with interest?

AIt is Waajib (compulsory) to repent for the loan involving interest you took. If a Muslim wants to partake in a specific affair and he

is not aware of its rulings, then it is upon him to ask before he gets involved in it. Ignorance isn’t an excuse for each and every situation. As far as the loan you borrowed, you are obligated to return the initial money borrowed only. If you are forced to pay interest with no way out, then we hope that you do your best in repenting to Allah Ta’ala to pardon you. You are advised to remain consistent in your business and give Sadaqah (charity) with what you are able to, in order to purify yourself and your wealth.

QI want to be guided on what to do in a situation that I work for a certain company and most of the time situation

forces me to be on business trips with people who consume alcohol in my presence?

AAs a Muslim you have to be proud of the teachings of your religion, and strive to apply them. This is something that will raise

you in status and increase your reward. Staying with them even though you are not drinking alcohol is still a sin in itself, because as Muslims we are commanded not to sit in places where evil is committed, otherwise what befalls those who are committing the evil action will also befall us. So give up these evil things, and those trips and sitting with those people. Seek the reward for that

with your Lord Allah Ta’ala. If this leads to your leaving the job, then you will have a great reward with Allah Ta’ala and you will find goodness, a way out and provision by His Leave.

QI am a newly-converted self taught Muslim. My question is, now that I am a Muslim should I look at the revelation

of the Bible and see myself as living in the last days as Christians think and believe?

AWe should understand first of all, what we mean by the revelations prior to the Qur’an, such as the Bible, and the conditions of

those books that claim to be revelations. What Muslims believe to be the Word of Allah Ta’ala is the actual revelation which Jesus (Isa Alayhis-Salaam) received from Allah, which he was preaching. So we cannot consider as the word of Allah, what some followers might have written later about Jesus misson. The Qur’an is called by Allah Himself as a Criterion, or a difference between truth and falsehood. Now about the Last Day, Islam and Muslims know that only Allah knows when the Last Day will be.

QWriting a Will is an aspect seem to be neglected. What is the ruling on the importance of writing a Will?

AAccording to the majority of Muslim Scholars, including the four Imaams, writing a Will is recommended (Mustahab).

However, writing a Will becomes obligatory if it is to fulfil a right for Allah such as Zakaah or Hajj or a right for a human such as debts or deposits. In a Will, a person may: (a) Ask his relatives to fulfil Allah’s and people’s rights. (b) Ask his relatives to follow the Sunnah in the funeral process, and (c) Allocate a part (within one third) of his estate for relatives other than the heirs.

QWe may talk the rest, but the heart of it all is Salaah. What is the status of Prayer (Salaah) in Islam?

APrayer (Salaah) occupies a great status in Islam that is not shared by any other act of worship. Prayer is the pillar of the religion,

which cannot stand without it. Allah Ta’ala erases sins by means of prayer. Prayer is the last part of religion to be lost and if it is lost the whole religion is lost. All in all prayer is the first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection.

QI engaged in some trade and promised to give a certain a mount of the profits for the sake of Allah Ta’ala. Can I spend

the profits on the marriage expenses of my brother?

AThe basic principle is that if whatever was vowed is something that is prescribed or allowed in Shariah, then it should be spent

in the manner intended by the one who made the vow. If he did not make any specific intention then he may spend it in any manner in which charity is given, such as giving to the poor and needy. Giving it to your brother who is needy is an act of doing good.

QThe business world today is much in partnership. We have recently accessed interest free loans and we intend to

partner in business and in my case the one to partner is a non-Muslim. Are we allowed to enter into partnership with non-Muslim in any kind of business?

AWith regard of entering partnership with a non-Muslim in business, the basic principle is that it is permissible, so long as it does

not involve too close a friendship, and it is only cooperation in some kind of wealth. Other scholars are of the view that it is permissible provided that the Muslim himself is in charge of the business. Whatever the case, it is better to avoid such a partnership and to enter into it with a Muslim so that he will keep his religious commitments and wealth. So as to avoid betrayal by one who is an enemy to him in religious terms, except in cases of necessity when there is a need.

QIs there any meritorious benefits or reward of visiting the sick people in Islam?

AIslam invites to all that is good and warns from all that is bad. From those good virtuous deeds is the visiting of the ill and

the afflicted people. Visiting the sick is one of the clearest signs of such mutual love, mercy and empathy. Indeed, it is also a duty that believers are required to fulfil, in adherence to the Sunnah.

QDuring our visit to see the sick at the hospital a patient wanted to know how Islam address the issue of a sick person

and his/her obligation of performing prayers?

AIslam facilitated performing prayers in order to match with all circumstances that happens to man. With regard to a sick

person he or she may perform prayers as follows: (1) A sick person has to pray standing as much as he/she can. (2) If they cannot stand, then they may pray sitting. (3) If they are unable to offer prayer sitting, they can do it lying on their side facing the Qiblah (direction of the Ka’bah). It is desirable for them to lie on their right side. (4) If they are unable to pray on their sides, they can pray lying on their back with the feet towards the Qiblah. (5) If a person is able to stand but he or she cannot bow or prostrate then standing is not waived in his case. Rather he/she should pray standing and lean forward for Ruku, then sit and lean forward for Sujood (prostration) etc. All in all it is not permissible to stop offering prayer under any circumstances.

QAs a supporter of one of the local teams I put on its jersey with Carlsberg logo as its sponsor. What Islam is saying to

such a matter?

ACarlsberg’s primary focus is the production, sale and marketing of beer. The ruling on wearing tops, T-shirts, stickers etc is quite

obvious, in that it is not permitted for a Muslim to wear anything that advertises and promotes beer, or any other unlawful item. By wearing it, one will be indirectly supporting their beer industry and assisting in sin. Unfortunately, some Muslims do not realize this; hence they continue to use products and items that in the essene promote alcohol. This is negligence on their part which should be rectified. In extention how do we feel when we get into stadiums to watch matches competing for Carlsberg trophy?

QWhat are the conditions (rules) of trade or business in Islam?

AIslam has forbidden all non-transparent business dealing. Deals done without accurate knowledge

about the goods may cause discontent or difficulties. So Islam does not approve such dealing short of knowledge and non-transparent. The trader has the responsibility to ensure that quality and value of the commodity he sells. Islam teaches that all kinds of unfair trade are forbidden. Let us stand for fair trade, knowing what we sale with maximum transparency.

The Prophet said: The believers are bound to their conditions, except a condition that allows something that is forbidden or forbids something that is

allowed. (Tirmizi)

QMost of the time I lose concentration while standing on prayer. I want to be helped on how I can develop desired

concentration while performing Salaah?

AThere are a variety of factors which destroys our concentration in Salaah. Our lifestyle and environment, our business

involvements, our dealing with Ghair Mahrams, reading all type of muck magazines, our food, our gazes, our tongue, doubtful food, indulgences in futility, etc., all have an impact on our hearts and minds. Develop Taqwa (fear of Allah Ta’ala) by denying the hearts its evil desires, and introduce the Deen in all fields of your life. Insha-Allah the mind and heart will become purer, and along with this will the incidence of Shaytaan Wasaawis (whispering) decreases.

QTension is high with my husband as regards to how he interact with his ex-wife. Is it allowed for my husband

to spend time with his ex-wife without my knowledge and must he support her financially as he does support his children?

A It is not permissible for your husband to have any contact with his ex-wife. She is considered as a stranger to him. He is

not obliged to support her as well. According to Shariah a husband will only support his divorced wife during the Iddah (waiting period). However, he wil be responsible to support his children at all time.

Q With the birth of smartphones we often receive emails on Islamic information without sometimes knowing the source

of the information. Kindly advise how we should treat such flow of information about Islam?

AThere are two aspects: (a) The person/s who run the site, (b) The information on the site. It is of vital importance to know who

runs the site. The information being correct or not is secondary as many people place unanimously

accepted information to attract visitors and thereafter propagate their incorrect beliefs and ideologies such as the ideologies of Shiaism. One of the pious predecessors advised: Verily this knowledge is Deen (religion) see from whom you obtain it.

QI am a Muslim woman who participates in a certain Muslim women discussion group and we wanted to know how

children who die through miscarriage and during birth be handled?

A According to Shariah, when a child passes away in the womb of the mother or dies before the head and the chest comes out

in a normal birth, or before the abdomen (navel) comes out in a breach birth, it is regarded as still born. The still born child should be washed, given a name, placed in a cloth and be buried in the graveyard. The same rule applies in miscarriage where some limbs of the child are visible.

QI am a prisoner who has some wealth out there. Do prisoners also have to pay Zakaah?

A If a prisoner possess the Zakaah Nisaab then Zakaah is obligated for him. Remember the amount to be paid is 2.5%.

QThere is a woman who caused trouble between two people who were about to get married. What is your advice to her?

A Causing trouble between Muslims is a wrong doing that corrupts intentions in people’s hearts, spoils relationships between people

and spreads mischief in our midst. It is prohibited to cause trouble and spoil relationship among Muslims, for two reasons: (1) To preserve unity among the Muslims. (2) Out of respect for their dignity. Hence reconciling between people is one of the best of good deeds, and causing division among people is one of wrong doing not good for Muslims.

The Most Desirable AcademyWhile education replaces nothing in all what human beings endervour to do in life, getting the right education from reknowed institutions matters most.

There might be many academic institutions but Judi Academy is of high profile, offering courses of high repute. Enroll and select the course to graduate out of the five valuable courses Judi academy is offering.

Briliant TeacherLong ago there lived a brilliant teacher, a spiritual guide, an excellent life coach. He lived in a tranquil countryside house at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Judi, his spiritual retreat offered an oasis of peace in the most scenic part of North East Turkey not far from the Iranian border. So students and disciples flocked to him. His purpose was to produce good human beings, so people rushed to him for knowledge and wisdom.

Graduating StudentThe briliant teacher was kind, considerate and a compassionate man seeking to make the world a peaceful and harmonious place. One day the old sage summoned a student who had stayed with him for a few years and was finally ready to graduate, so he asked him “What have you learnt from me?” He wanted to satisfy himself that he had done a decent job with this student. The student replied, “Sir, I have learnt five valuable things from you”. The wise old man was surprised that over the years he had learnt just five things.

Common Good for HumanityHe narrated that, people should love neither wealth nor high positions nor fame, they should focus on doing the common good for Humanity. You have taught me we should not be greedy or mean, instead we should be generous and charitable. I have noticed how people spend their day and night in fact their entire life accumulating wealth and they don’t get to use it and when they die others inherit it. So what I have learnt from you is whatever good we are given by Allah

Ta’ala we should use it in the best way for the good of others, in this way we will have peace of mind and also the pleasure of the Lord. This is what will give true happiness here and in the Hereafter.“ Mindful of the Lord The Wise old man smiled and asked, “What is the second thing you have learnt?” The student replied, “It is that one should always be mindful of the Lord, be attentive and aware and fully awake to his responsibilities so that he could be thankful and this will stop him from doing wicked things. One should always remember that sustenance for our worldly needs is provided by the Lord Almighty, therefore we should not be overly concerned with it. By now the smile on the face of the sage was growing bigger and bigger, he then enquired, “What is the third thing you have learnt from me?”Never Wish To See People DeprivedThe young man replied, “O sage! The third thing that I have learnt from you is that one should never be jealous of the wealth and the status of others. This is a moral vice that eats away people’s good deeds like the fire burns dry wood. After all the real owner of all wealth is Allah Ta’ala. Therefore, never wish to see people deprived of their possessions.Student’s Wisdom ApprovedThe great teacher nodded his head and approved his student’s wisdom. “So what next?” The student responded, “The fourth lesson is that Shaytaan is the bitterest enemy, seeks to destroy people’s lives, we ought to regard him as our enemy.Wonderful People to TeachThe old man said you have spoken the truth and asked fifth lesson. The student replied, “I have learnt that people’s real Helper is Allah Ta’ala and no one else, therefore we should put trust in Him. After hearing these words of wisdom the old sage was thankful to Allah Ta’ala for giving him such wonderful people to teach.
