CONSOLIDATED REPORT

FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2017

MEETING / SEMINARS

We had regular working committee meeting every day in the evening and

their we discussed about the day and next day’s activities.

On 11.07.2017, 12.07.2017 & 13.07.2017 Mathematics department, Science

department & Social department teachers had meeting with the Principal at

3.30 pm respectively.

Principal attended IMS meeting at Leo Mat. School, Anna Nagar regarding

class wise students details at 2.00 pm on 18.07.2017.

Principal meet the girls of Std XII & X and explained about few life skills

and how to behave in the class.

Principal conducted a meeting for the new staff of Std VI – XII from 4.00

pm to 5.00 pm on 19.07.2017; they spoke about notes of lessons, loss of

pay, leave, late, permission, etc.

Principal conducted a meeting for the new teachers of KG & Primary on

20.07.2017.

Principal conducted a meeting for the boys of Std XII regarding Life Skills

on 21.07.2017.

Principal conducted a meeting for the parents of Std IX and discussed

about children’s discipline, studies & how parental care is very essential for

this age students.

ACADEMIC

Question paper for monthly test to be collected from the teachers

handling Std XII.

First Mid-Term test will be conducted from 02.08.2017 to 04.08.2017.

Completion of portions and corrections to be carried out properly before

the Mid –Term test commences.

Class room observation should be carried out by the Admin staff, if any

teacher requires correction it should be done outside the class room and

not in front of the students.

Corporal punishment is highly discouraged, No teacher is allowed to use

stick, iron scale or any other material in the class for punishing the

students.

Principal insisted that all the teachers should take care and have a follow

up of the student’s daily home work.

Teachers should enrich and take remedial steps for the slow learners.

Std XI handling teachers are instructed to complete the portions by

February 2018.

First Mid – Term test time table and portions was given to the students on

14.07.2017.

Zero period tests are being conducted between 2.45 pm & 3.50 pm for

the Primary department.

Special classes for Std X & XII should go systematically every day.

Teachers should instruct the students properly regarding any class test or

exam and they should prepare well.

Students class work completion to be checked properly, especially the

slow learners to be taken care of.

Regarding students Homework teachers should be instructed to have a

continuity of the same lesson and not jump from one to another.

Zero period tests are being conducted between 2.45 pm & 3.50 pm for

the Primary department.

Principal instructed the teachers that they should go directly to their

classes after the staff prayer and not waste the time here and there.

Principal suggested to the Admin’s that a teacher should be fit to handle

the classes and not to compromise with any teacher.

Principal suggested to the Admin staff to have a talk and evaluate the

teachers department wise.

Primary students had literary programme practice on 22.07.2017 from

9.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Students of Std X, XI and XII had special class on 22.07.2017 from 8.45 am

to 3.00 pm, Friday’s timetable was followed.

Students of Std III B had special class for Science on 22.07.2017 from 9.00

am to 12.00 noon.

TRAINING FOR THE TEACHER

Tata Edge Class Training for higher class teachers was conducted on

18.07.2017.

A schedule to be framed for Grammar & Tata Edge Classes which can be

conducted group wise for teachers every day.

GENERAL

We had our Silver Jubilee Celebration on Friday 07.07.2017 at DMI

College of Engineering, Palanchur.

Due to the inconvenience our chief Guest Most Rev. Dr. George

Antonysamy, Archbishop of Madras, Mylapore, our Father Founder &

Chairman Rev.Fr.Dr.J.E.ARUL RAJ graced the occasion as our Chief Guest.

Various cultural programs were held; Students participated enthusiastically

and made the evening very colourful and enjoyable.

Founder Rev. Fr. Dr. J.E.ARUL RAJ honored the Rank holders & Toppers

of Board Examinations 2016 – 2017 Batch and also the Teachers who had

completed their service of 10 years and above were honored with the

shield and certificate.

Parents and Well-wishers appreciated the effort taken to conduct the

Silver Jubilee Celebration.

Students Attendance Registers of last academic year (2016 – 2017) was

collected and submitted in the office for auditing.

Investiture day & Kamarajar birth anniversary was celebrated on

14.07.2017(Fri).

Tournament Matches for Basket Ball & Carom was conducted in our

school campus on 15.07.2017(sat).

House wise disciplinary score board to be prepared by the house in-charge

teachers.

Teachers should not teach / speak with dual language in the class – highly

discouraged.

Colours Day was celebrated by the students of Pre-KG & LKG, the class

rooms were decorated very colourfully with individual colours like Red,

Yellow, Light Blue, Navy Blue, Green, Orange, Purple & White on

17.07.2017.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP was organized in our school campus by the

passed out students studying at Ramachandra Medical College, Porur. Out

of 145 willing donors only 81 were fit to donate blood on 22.07.2017.

SPORTS

Students won the following games held in St. John’s Mat. School, Palanchur

on 20.07.2017.

FURTHER FOCUS

Zero period tests for the students of Std VI – IX will be conducted after

the First mid test.
