2019 Priorities

As a Catholic school, Religious Education is our first learning area and continues to be our main priority.

Standardised testing results, including NAPLAN , OLI & PIPs along with teacher assessments have formed the basis of our priority setting which feed into our School Improvement Plan (SIP). We will continue to consolidate our focus on:

Since 2012 there has been a steady increase, with a slight dip in 2016. At the end of 2017 we projected a reduction of the gap between CEWA and SJCP by 5-10% . Our results in 2018 show we have reduced the gap in Years Three and Five by over 30%

Early Childhood

Targeted investigative play is a key component of our Early Childhood area and is supported by explicit teaching in literacy and numeracy.

Curtin University Speech Pathology students will assist in Kindergarten and Pre Primary throughout 2018 and this will continue 2019.
