Prostration is the most enjoyable type of worship and of we know the value of it then we will not even want

to take our head up – and that is why we have two prostration in each rika’t and before going there a lot of

preparation in Surah Fatiha, bowing, praising.

Types and analogy of being humiliated to Allah SWT:

• Humiliation of a disabled one in front of the Most Able – in front of the

only One who can give everything;

• Feeling like a criminal in front of the Bestower – for example somebody

always doing good to you but you return his goodness with negative behavior or talking bad about

him and he knows about your attitude – the way you feel embarrassed and humiliated that feeling we

should have n front of Allah SWT;

• as a slave having no value, no possession feels humiliated to the Master – when we

have this feeling in front of Allah SWT then it is the most beautiful and enjoyable;

• The highest level of humiliation ( ) - a humiliation from one to the

most beloved one and is surrounded by the feeling that I am humiliating myself to the Most beloved,

my Rabb – this is the ibadah. A perfect love with perfect humiliation is the crux of the ibadah –

when we pray, bow, prostrate then we feel the humiliation and we know the purpose of our life

which is nothing but loving and worshipping Allah SWT; to

feel obsessed with the love of Allah SWT feeling humiliated and attached to Him.

Fruits of being humiliated in front of Allah SWT is that Allah SWT honours

us because He is the All-Might and wants our hearts – Allah SWT says in Surah

Ale Imran Ayah 26 that honour is in the hands of Allah SWT and it is not that

Allah SWT humiliates us but when we humiliate ourselves in front of Him then

He honours us because that is what suits a slave in front of the Most Beloved

Master.

The honour is when we follow the commands of Allah SWT and obey the way

He wants us to submit to Him and worship Him and the dispraised

humiliation is when people disobey Allah SWT and He makes them feel the humiliation and they feel

humiliated themselves in front of other people – Allah SWT says about Banu

Israel in Surah Ale Imran Ayah 112 that how they disobeyed Allah SWT and how

He humiliated them in this life and the indignity will be on them till the last day.
