21st Century EducatorsObjectives:

- Support teachers’ professional growth in the rapidly changing world, and guide their journey to become “21st Century Educators”.

- Increase understanding of the cognitive processes of teaching and learning. - Become proficient in using diverse and innovative teaching methods, learning environments and

education technology. - Develop strong pedagogical skills and an understanding of 21st century skills acquisition and

assessment. Content:

- The programs (10 ECTS each) are divided into fully facilitated online modules which use authentic e-learning and progressive inquiry as their pedagogical framework, and engage participants using a range of online and social media tools.

Aspects of the training: learning environments, teaching and learning methods, collaboration and networking as well as assessment. For whom: Teachers who plan to use actively latest technologies from technical and pedagogical point of view in teaching.

Professional Teacher Development Through Coaching Programmes

Objectives: - To offer pedagogical competence up-skilling for participating teachers. - To improve the performance of the whole school community. !

Content: - The programme emphasises pedagogical issues in the school environment and are tailored

according to the special features of the culture, context and local education policy. - All the knowledge and learning processes of the programme focus on increasing the individual

capacity of educators. - Credits according to specific programs, i.e. from few to tens credits. !

For whom: For education professionals at all levels of the education system

Professional Teacher Development Through Coaching Programmes

Objectives: - Enhance university teachers’ skills to plan, implement and evaluate their own teaching and to

assess the students’ learning. - Take time to reflect on teaching and being a teacher.

Content: - During the training, the participants learn the principles of constructively aligned teaching, and

also develop their own teaching according to these principles. - Course 1: Student learning (5 ECTS)
