The Power Wave AC/DC 1000 SD has waveform control technology for submerged arc welding. Its AC Deposition rate is at +25% as compared to DC+. Being an inverter, electrical savings of around $10,000 per year can be realised. SWTC has state of the art multi-phase flow lop facility which is used for research and development of products. It is also used for conducting on-site checks of multiphase flow meters.

Q&T facility has built-in capabilities to simulate the various stresses such as sand, temperature and gas that are typical in downhole scenarios. The hot loop test

bay is one of its kind in the world wherein ESP’s / downhole equipment could be tested up to high downhole temperature in a flow loop thus providing insights into system interactions and understanding of the equipment’s behaviour.
