Rotary Lobe Pumps are self-priming, valveless positive displacement pumps. The screw rotor enables almost pulsation free and low shear operation. The pump rotation is reversible.

A development from Börger: The Optimum Rotor. Theheavy-duty lobe heads incorporate long sealing linesto the pump casing and between the rotors. Slip is reduced to a minimum. Pump units in abrasive applications benefit from the Optimum Rotor. Themodular design and the high manufacturingstandards of Börger Rotary Lobe Pumpsmake it possible for most models in thefield to be upgraded to the OptimumRotor.

Börger is synonymous for Rotary Lobe Pumps. The simple and ingenious principle of a self-priming, valveless positive displacementpump found its marketplace in all industries. 18 pump models in sixseries with flow rates between 5 – 5,000 usgpm build the base foryour individual pump application: The variety of components and materials of construction enables Börger to supply an optimizedpump to each customer. Rotor shapes and/or tips, elastomer coatings, shaft seals and materials of the pump casing and protection platesare all chosen depending on the pumped fluid. Börger Rotary LobePumps are constructed following our MIP-Design criteria. MIP(Maintenance In Place) ensures optimum maintenance friendliness. All wetted parts can be quickly maintained and replaced when necessary by your own staff – without the removal of pipe or drivesystem. Quick, Easy and Cost Effective.

The Multicrushers are applied in various industries.Especially where debris needs to be reduced to anacceptable and unproblematic solid size for theprotection of downstream equipment. Börger customizes the right blade combination for yourapplication to achieve the required size reduction.

The Börger Multicrusher is an effective, widely applicable twin shaftgrinder for solids and debris laden fluids. The Multicrusher grindsand crushes foreign objects like stringent materials, wood, plastics, skins, textiles etc. to ensure trouble free operation of downstreamequipment. The Multicrusher incorporates the same unique advantages of the Börger MIP-Design as the Rotary Lobe Pump. MIP (Maintenance In Place) allows quick and convenient replacementof all wetted parts without removal of pipes, drives or other components of the macerating unit by your own staff.

The optimized shaft distance and the blade set up forms a strong“Pull-In-Function”. The relative rotation speed of the two shafts ensures an optimized macerating effect and prevents stringy materialfrom wrapping around the blades.

The fluid (normally waterlike sludge andslurries with large debris) is conveyed witha pump unit through the cutter plate of theMultichopper. Equipped with knife heads, the Multichopper delivers many cuts per rotation, ensuring reliable maceration ofthe debris. Large foreign objects like rocksor metal parts accumulate in the debristrap, which is easily accessible through alarge cleaning port.

The Börger Multichopper is a single shaft grinder withcentral cutter plate and knife heads for solids and debrisladen fluids. The Multichopper macerates and conditionsstringent material in homogenous sludge. The innovativedesign of the Multichopper with a central shaft clamp construction allows quick and easy replacement of wearparts onsite. The well known MIP-Design ensures that allfluid wetted parts are quickly maintainable or replaceablewhen necessary by your own staff – without the removal ofpipe or drive system.
