Pastor-led class on managing finances God's way Get off on the right foot financially in 2020 with "Managing Our Finances God's Way" taught by Pastor Chris! The class will meet 6:30-7:45 Wednesday evenings beginning Jan. 8 and ending Feb. 19. The study presents the biblical perspective on money using video segments, live teaching, and group discussion. The seven class sessions are: The Big Picture, Dedicate It All to God, Plan Your Spending, Giving as an Act of Worship, Saving and Investing, God's Solution to Debt, and Enjoy What God Has Given You. The cost is $20 for the workbook. A signup sheet is in the lobby. Deadline for signup is Dec. 8 so we know how many books to order.

Wednesday Nov. 27, 6 p.m.

We are doing our second annual coat drive. Last year we hoped for 100 coats and ended up receiving more than 200 coats from all of you! That was a great example of generosity. Let’s see if we can top it this year! Drop off boys/girls coats sizes infant-14 in the church lobby now through the end of November.

Youth Sunday School (6th-12th) Anger can destroy us from within, as well as injure people and things around us. The reality is that many good people lose control of their anger, and the results have varying degrees of conse-quence. Is it possible to be angry and not sin? Join us in the youth room to find out! Upcoming Events: This is a month of being thankful. However, most people in nursing homes do not get the joy of spending this time with their families. To help cheer them up, youth will deliver Thanksgiving/fall cookies and handmade cards to residents of a nearby nursing home. This event will take place on November 24th from 12-2:30 pm. We will eat lunch here at Shepherd, put the cookies in bags and then go out into our community to share the love of God with the nursing home residents. If you will be joining us on this amazing opportu-nity, please let Lauren know. Your whole family is welcome to join us!

PARENTS NIGHT OUT Our Youth Ministry is sponsoring a fundraiser. Parents’ Night Out is Friday, Dec. 6, 6:30-9:30 p.m. for children ages three and up. The cost for three hours is $20 for your first child and $10 for each sibling. Children will enjoy snacks, crafts, games, and a movie!! The evening of the event parents will stop at the

UNDER THE BRIDGE MINISTRIES

The Under the Bridge Ministries are going to Haven for Hope for Christmas and are In need of donations. We are looking to do 100 bags to give out this year. Needed

items are socks and underwear for both men and women, cloth grocery bags, travel size shampoo, lotions, conditioners, tissues, lip balm, and mouthwash. Please put the donations in the box outside the office in the narthex no later than the 8

st of December.
