Shaka Smith BIO Shaka Smith, agraduate of Princeton University, George Mason School of Law, and a certified personal trainer, decided to officially pursue his lifelong love of acting and fitness by making the move to Los Angeles in January of 2011.

Upon, arriving in Los Angeles, Shaka quickly began his pursuit of his fitness and acting career, booking small roles in television and film and competing in his first National Physique Committee (NPC) Men's Physique competition in April 2011, where he won first place in his class. Since that time Between April 2011 and January 2015, Shaka has competed in 20 competitions, winning his class in 10 of them and winning the Overall award in 5 of them with top 5 placings at both USAs, a national pro qualifying contest (2011, 2013), and The Arnold Amateur. To date, Shaka has never placed out of the top 5 in any local competition.

Shaka's competition wins earned him recognition in Iron Man Magazine, Muscle Mag International, FLEX, Vegan Health & Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, and World Physique Magazine as well as features on several fitness websites. Shaka's passion for writing and educating himself as well as others has also lead him to write for several of these websites, contributing to Rx Muscle, Lean Body Lifestyle, Cut And Jacked, and Muscle Prodigy. Currently, Shaka has launched his own home workout and nutrition plan e-book, 6 minute 6 pack (www.6minute6pack.net), with several more fitness related ventures on the horizon, including the launch of his website (www.shakasmith.com) currently underway.

Shaka is very devoted to charity, and has worked with various charitable organizations including, The Thirst Project, Women Like Us Foundation, Comfort Zone Camp and GO campaign. He has started his own non-profit, Giving Voices, with the mission to create awareness, particularly amongst young people and help fundraise for various charities.

Shaka continues to focus on his acting career, appearing in commercials, fitness infomercials, fitness dvds, tv shows, and films and more recently has embraced a role as a social media influencer, working with other high profile influencers across various social media platforms and representing several brands, including core sponsors Garden of Life and Antithesis Apparel clothing. He is passionate and looking forward to the journey ahead .
