Sewing Machine with Thread & Spool Cap

Threading the Machine:

Place thread spool on the spool pin (A), cover with the spool cap (B)

Thread goes from the spool pin to the metal thread guides C & D, then is pulled straight down.

Pull thread straight down & wrap under the tension dial & follow arrow up

Thread now gets looped though the tension guide (E). If you do not see the

tension guide, turn the hand wheel on the right side.

Pull thread straight down. The thread crosses a metal bar (F) then is looped through a hook at the top of the needle

(G).

Eye of the needle (H)

Thread the eye of the needle, front to back (H)

Needle threaded.

Bobbin Pin (I)

Bobbin Pin: (I) Bobbin: (J)

Place bobbin on bobbin pin, pull bobbin down.

Thread machine as before. Stop & bring over to (K). Wrap around bobbin, following arrow direction.

Step on foot peddle & fill bobbin with thread. Remove & put bobbin pin in up position

Bobbin Casing (J) – leave a tail of thread & hold. Drop bobbin into the bobbin case (J).

Bring thread around the bobbin & hook behind metal finger (L).

Take up lever (M)
