1. Venue Overview:

The Palace of the Marquises of La Algaba, a noble Renaissance palatial residence of high architectural value (15th Century), is considered one of the best examples of civil Mudejar art in the city of Seville.

The palace boasts an impressive Mudejar-Gothic façade which has been preserved to this day. It is one of the best kept secrets of the monument heritage in the city of Seville. After slow and gradual deterioration, plundering and ruin, what had once been the residence of one of the Sevillian families with noblest ancestry, the Guzmanes of La Algaba, came close to disappearing. However, after a painstaking rehabilitation, it re-emerged in full force in the early 21st Century.

The Palace of the Marquises of La Algaba, located behind the Feria Food Market, currently houses the Department for Education, Citizen Participation and Municipal Buildings of Seville City Council. Furthermore, since 2013 this palace also hosts the Mudejar Art Centre of Seville.

The Palace of the Marquises of La Algaba, is a significant cultural reference in the Old District of the city and the City Council's first major museum initiative. The venue has two meeting rooms, fully equipped with audiovisual resources, and a central courtyard.

This venue in Seville is ideal to organise all type of events, either in the indoor rooms or the outdoor courtyard and gardens. The types of events that could be held here are meetings or conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies, as well as cocktail receptions or any other cultural or art event.

The maximum capacity of the venue is 120 people in the meeting room, and 200 people in the courtyard. There is no public parking near the building. It is accessible for people with disabilities.
