After a successful coaching career as the men’s head

basketball coach at Tennessee Temple University, Ron Bishop started a sports mission ministry that has made an international impact. SCORE International now takes over 7,000 people on short-term mission trips every year. Our mission is to evangelize the lost, equip the local church and missionaries, and encourage all those working in the field by coming alongside them with support.

LEADERSHIP

John Zeller began his career coaching baseball for Tennessee Temple, and

the Masters College in California. Prior to SCORE, John impacted the lives of many athletes through sports outreach at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, as the Minister of Recreation Outreach. In 2011, John became the Executive Director of SCORE International and now travels all over the USA speaking at churches, sporting events, camps, and conferences. John also serves as the chaplain for the Tampa Yankees and St. Leo University Baseball Team. He has influenced the lives of many athletes with the Word of God.

Construction Teams NeededConstruction teams are a vital support ministry for our field missionaries and church plants. SCORE needs contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and those willing to paint, repair, and restore. Service in the area of construction makes a huge impact in the mission field.

CONSTRUCTION TEAMS

Registered NursesOn average we need four registered nurses per one doctor. If you are a nurse, we need you!

Support team members are also needed who may not be medically trained, but who can assist medical staff.

Medical InternsMedical interns will serve in the same capacity as all other interns, but will have a priority of serving alongside our Medical Director and any medical teams that are participating with SCORE.

Medical/Dental TripsSCORE International desires to take doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, and other professionals in the medical field on mission trips. SCORE uses the platform of free medical care to present the Gospel. SCORE offers the opportunity for medical personnel to make an eternal impact by utilizing their skills on a short term mission trip.

MEDICAL/DENTAL

G.A.P. YearG.A.P., an acronym for Global Adventure Pursuit, is a nine month program for high school graduates and college students (ages 17-25) who wish to become fluent in Spanish while learning basic Bible doctrines. Students live and study in the SCORE facilities located in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. The program was developed by SCORE International to encourage young adults to serve God through missions.

InternshipAn internship at Score International connects God’s calling with your passion and skills. Designed to provide opportunities to explore missions, an internship with us not only gives you missionary experience but it also grows your faith and uses your skills and gifts to build up the body of Christ. As you serve, you will grow in your understanding of how to minister to the lost and needy; you will have the opportunity to work with local pastors and missionaries; and most of all, you will be challenged to share your faith and be used by God to reach the lost.

CHILD SPONSORSHIPJosiah’s HouseJosiah’s House is a boy’s home in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic.
