TOPICSThe programme of the School will include lec-tures and work in small groups according to the model developed at the McMaster Univer-sity. The School aims to provide participants with practical leadership skills and to make them able to prepare research protocols suit-able for submission or funding.The topics covered during the School will be the following:
l How to make research in mental health
l How to perform statistical analyses
l How to make presentations
l How to make posters
l How to prepare a curriculum vitae
l How to write scientifi c papers
l How to produce good titles
l How to deal with media
l How to organize and chair a meeting
TARGET AUDIENCE AND APPLICATIONS
The School will accept 20 participants selected by the Faculty.
Applications should be sent no later than January 31, 2014 at the follow-
ing e-mail address: [email protected]. Applications will be consid-
ered valid if they include: personal data, curriculum vitae, motivation letter.
The participation fee is 1,500 euros and includes: travel costs, accommodation,
breakfasts, lunches and dinners, registration fees and teaching materials.
At the end of the School, participants will receive a certifi cate of profi ciency and
a one-year tutorship on research topics by the teachers of the School.
