Polythene Bags are non-biodegradable, so their decomposition process is very long. As a result they cause soil pollution.

On burning of plastic bags, lot of pollution caused. As a result various natural cycles get adversely effected.

Polythene bags are very harmful for animals & for aquatic life.

We felt:

In Tehna Dipalpur village, use of polythene bags is heavy. Everywhere polythene bags are scattered. As village is on state highway, animals always roaming on the side way of

the road, they also eat these polythene. And some time these polythene bags are responsible for their death.

Page 5: Satya bharti school, tehna

We imagined that our village area & surrounding get rid of these polythene bags and from its deadly impact.

No plastic bags will be used by any community members for any use.

Shopkeepers also stop using polythene bags as carry bags for sale of materials.

No pollution due to polythene bags in the village.

We Imagine:

Tehna village will be model village in the state of Haryana where no one use polythene bags.

Village will be noted as “Tehna polythene free Dipalpur”

Impact on Community:

Due to counseling of students, one of the shopkeeper at the same

time burnt all the polythene bags which were their in his shops.

Parents of the students felt very happy when they saw their children were too much aware of these type of community issue. And more happy when these children started counseling their parents/

Guardians.
