of 'IMPRESSIONS' of SNPS, Govindpuri.
“Impressions” is a cluster of various events done
throughout the year. I congratulate the Editorial Board
consis�ng of young editors, efficient teachers who are
involved in launching of the issue of “Impressions”. This
newsle�er will create an impression in the minds of the
readers and gives a clear idea what our young achievers
are acquiring in the school.
May Satguru Mataji Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the almighty
Nirankar always keep showering their blessings on us.

ECO CLUB ACTIVITIES
SNPS, Govindpuri enrolled itself in the Eco- Club in July'2019. Several activities were held in the school premises to save our environment and make it eco- friendly.
ECO-FRIENDLY DIWALI: With an aim to spread awareness about Firecrackers causing Noise and Air Pollution and numerous Health Hazards to human beings and animals,SNPS, Govindpuri took out an Anti- Cracker Rally in and outside the school premises.Students gave the message to celebrate Green and Safe festival.The young Eco-Warriors carried out colourful Placards and raised slogans like “Say no to Crackers and Yes to Life”.
· Tree Plantation :with the vision of making our school green and
clean and also to reduce Air Pollution which has reached an
alarming level. Students planted trees, shrubs, herbs in the school
premises throughout the year under the guidance of Eco- Club
teacher and H.M.They were also sensitized in the assembly
through Speech, Quiz, and Poster/Slogan competition.
· Safe Food: My contribution- students were made aware about Healthy food Habits
· Idol Immersion: students were sensitized about environment protection and
conservation of the water bodies. The school celebrated Eco Friendly Ganesh
Chaturthi. They were sensitized through articles, thoughts, speech.Special assembly
was conducted where different Eco- Friendly Ganpati idols were made in front of
students and also they were apprised of the ill- effects cause to water bodies due to
immersing of PoP idols.

· SwachchataPakhwada : Students were sensitized
in the assembly about the importance of
cleanliness. Students recited poems, speech in
the assembly and aware the students that we
should keep our environment clean and thus we
will stay t .
Jal Shakti Abhiyaan :Students were
sensitized in the assembly about water
conservation through speech, articles, etc. .
Plantation Drive was conducted. Poster and
slogan competition were held in the school.

CELEBRATIONS & COMPETITIONS
For nurturing the verbal abilities of the students INTER HOUSE DECLAMATION AND
DEBATE COMPETITION was held on 20.07.19 at Sant Nirankari Public School,
Govindpuri. Selected Students of all the four Houses spoke on assigned Declamation
and Debate topics. In Declamation Competition, Kanishka from Prerna House and
Tamanpreet from Pragati House secured the First Position. Students debated on
important and inspiring topics like Junk Food, Influence of Western Culture in our
Society etc. In Debate Competition, Neha from Preet House (class VI),Rhydem from
Prerna House (class VII) and Maviya from Prakash House (class VIII) spoke for the
motion and secured the first position. Trishna from Preet House (class VI),Roshni
from Prerna House (class VII) and Kanishka from Prakash House (class VIII) spoke
against the motion and secured the first position.
The little buds of Pre-school and Pre-Primary at Sant Nirankari Public School,
Govindpuri celebrated Grandparents Day in the school premises on September
30, 2019.
Grandparents were greeted by handmade cards made by their own little ones.
Grandparents loved some mesmerizing moments, tapped their feet on old songs
and re-lived their childhood with their grandchildren.
An open interaction between the head of the school Ms. NeerajMahipal Chawla
and parents/ grandparents created a positive aura of understanding to strengthen
'Home-School Partnership'.

Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri along with the LMC and PTA members th thcelebrated 70 Republic day in the school premises on 25 January, 2019 with
great zeal and enthusiasm. Different cultural activities like Patriotic song and dance
were performed by the talented students
Republic Day Celebrations
On the occasion of Independence Day and Rakshabandhan, Sant Nirankari Public
School, Govindpuri, celebrated the same with great enthusiasm and a feel of
patriotism. The celebration started with Flag Hoisting Ceremony by our Respected
Chairperson and Manager escorted by our H.M. The students marched
enthusiastically to pay tribute to our National Flag and Great Martyrs of the Nation.
This was followed by an Inter House Singing Competition. Students gave
informative speech on the day and spread the message of love and respect on the
occasion of Rakshabandhan too.
73rd Independence Day & Rakshabandhan
HEALTH CHECKUP CAMP was organized by Sant Nirankari Charitable thFoundation on 6 August 2019 in Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri for all
classes from Nursery to VIII. A team of doctors well equipped with medical devices
conducted this medical checkup which includes Height, Weight, Eye test, Dental
hygiene, Ear, Growth pattern etc. Necessary precautionary measures and medical
advice was given to students and health recordsheet was given to class teachers
and parents to follow up.

TODDLERS ACTIVITIES
Graduation Ceremony (2018-19)- Growing up has just begun..... Now I am ready for grade one!
Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri celebrated graduation day on March, 28, 2019. The chief guest Mr. S C Talwar (Member In charge, Education) and Mr. Bhawnesh Thukral (Member, Central Managing Committee), in convocation address complimented the graduated on their achievements.
WORKSHOPS & CEREMONIES
Tiny tots dressed up in a nice attires and performed different activities like: folk dance, aerobics and yoga....., which was appreciated by everyone. Each and every kid of kindergarten was also awarded with certicates by the chief guest.
The programme ended with grand nale dance performance. Wishing them good luck as they continue their education in the main stream of the school!
Ms. Ashima Katoch
Students of Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri got selected (at the district level) in various events like model making and painting competition, conducted by Delhi Traffic Police. They further got the opportunity to compete at the Range level and the competition was held on 16th January 2019 at Dev Samaj Public School, Nehru Nagar from the South East District. Students participated enthusiastically. Naviya from class 8 and Sangam from class 7 participated in the model making competition on the topic – “Innovation with waste material”. Sangam of class 7 and Naviha of class 8 of Sant Nirankari Public School Govindpuri got the first prize at the range level in model making competition on the topic – “Innovation with waste material” conducted by Delhi Traffic Police under School Road Safety Awareness Campaign (2018-19). The students were rewarded with the cash price
thof ₹6,000 and were further given the opportunity to compete for final round on 6 February, 2019 at Traffic Training Park, Punjabi Bagh.

SNPS Govindpuri, celebrated Investiture Ceremony in the school premises on May 15, 2019 with great pomp and dignity. The newly elected Student Council of Sant Nirankari Public School, Govindpuri marched towards the platform as leaders of Hope.They were conferred with badges and sashes by Honorable Principal Mam and the school coordinator. The Students' Council took the pledge to hold the school motto of Grace, Excellence, and Faith in high esteem
