Volume 60 Number 6

Hello everyone, we are half-way into 2019, and are moving forward won-

derfully. It was great seeing everyone at the May meeting for what turned

into an amazing presentation on Australian Boulder Opals.

I remind everyone to please submit any ideas that may be related to the

bettering of our beloved club.

The next business meeting will take place 7pm on June 1st at Thalia’s

home. This month’s meeting will have our exciting Silent Auction. I ask

everyone to bring items to auction and participate for a fun evening of

laughter and suspense. This is a great opportunity to clear some items

from your homes and bring in a few new ones.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the June 15th meeting.

Woodland Hills Rock Chippers, Incorporated

Our organization, a non-profit corporation, was formed for educational and instructive purposes: to foster collection and study of minerals, to disseminate knowledge about them, to sponsor field trips to find them, to encourage the use of them in lapidary and faceting studies, etc. And to have one whale of a good time doing those things with all of our friends. Regular meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Re-freshments are at 6:30 p.m. Field trips are at various times throughout the month. Guests are always welcome to attend. Membership is open to interested applicants after they have attended at least two meetings. Annual dues are due in November for the following year.
