To be taken prior to admission to the teacher education program. It is an introduction to the teacher education program and is open to students who may be considering education as their major. The purpose of this course is to provide educational administrators with an overview of effectively utilizing technology in educational settings. The course will focus on proper methods involved with instruction, administration and communication. The purpose of this course is to (a) provide perspective school administrators with a background in the business and financial administration of public education from a perspective of the effective, efficient, and accountable management of fiscal resources supporting educational programs and services for all students; (b) provide administrative practitioners with an opportunity to update their knowledge of educational business and financial administration; and (c) provide student with the opportunity for research and inquiry relative to business and financial administration in public schools.

The field problem in educational administration course is designed to be the culmination product for Educational Administration Seeking License degree. For this problem, the student will investigate a project dealing with a specific problem in school administration. The study will be in an area that is of special interest to the student, will be helpful to others and consist of on-the-job training with the work being done under the supervision of a graduate professor.

The national push for accountability and excellence in public education has attributed to the necessity to deal more conscientiously and more equitably with personnel in order to provide a more effective and cooperative working environment.
